Everything provided for a wonderful vacation Summer or fall. Canoe, kayaks, paddle boards. Fishing gear. Fire pit directly facing the lake. Lots of Adirondack chairs to enjoy relaxing around the fire. Strings of lights hung from the trees for soft evening lighting. The dock is long and has lounge chairs right on the dock deck. There is a swim float to swim to and relax and enjoy the sun and swim back. There is deep water off the end and shallow water off the sandy beach shoreline, really nice if you have small children to enjoy wadding and playing and enjoying the sunny warm water right next to the dock. There is great fishing right off of the dock or use the canoe to enjoy fishing the entire lake. No steep steps going down to a dock. Large flat yard all around the property, walk right onto the dock from the yard. Lounge chairs, picnic table, and extra chairs to add if needed for outside seating. The grill is large with cooking tables set up all around grill, cooking utensils all provided with lots of room to cook and enjoy eating outside. Several coolers provided to enjoy cold beverages outside all day and evening long. The inside of the house has a wonderful comfortable Maine cottage feeling but with the bonus of having all of the modern conveniences. WiFi , fast internet, Cable, Smart TV, Washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender for drinks or smoothies, full house generator so you will never loose power. Lake view from all rooms. The front porch has a wicker rocking chair, small table and chairs to enjoy any time of the day as you face beautiful gardens with stone walls and steps. There is a direct entrance and exit from the den/bedroom to the porch. Also a door from the den/bedroom directly onto the deck facing the lake.
This property is so well centrally located to get to and also if you want to venture out. Eight miles from interstate 95 north or south. Only one hour east to the beautiful Maine coast. You can rent a sailboat, charter boats that you enjoy or go on some of the cruises that take you to the wonderful coastal islands. One hour from Portland and all of the renowned restaurants and breweries. The famous LLBeans is 45 minutes away in Freeport. The Western Maine mountains are an hour and a half west.

I have enjoyed many years at this very special lake front home. I know you will too.

Lovely week on the water
We loved our time here. Deborah the host had thought of everything! We enjoyed the pristine water of the pond and there was a great place for our young nieces to play in the water. We used the provided kayaks for nice peaceful paddles and even caught a couple of fish. Inside the house is extremely comfortable with lovely plush couches that we curled up and read our books on. Nights were pin drop quiet and the sun set over the pond every night. Overall this is a great place with all the amenities and a wonderful location. We also really enjoyed visits from the neighborhood cat Licorice!

Best lakeside vacation ever for this swimmer
We swam in the gorgeous Upper Narrows every day!!! Rain or shine and day or night (the water is so warm it doesn’t matter). And the music of the loons put us to sleep every night. Deb made us feel right at home with a warm and informative check-in and her son who lives in a cottage on the property with his friendly cat was quick to answer any and all questions that came up during our stay but also gave us full privacy. If you are looking for an easy lakeside vacation with a family of swimmers, this is your spot. Highly recommended.

Cottage week with our 3 oldest grandchildren
My husband and I had a fabulous week at this lovely cottage with our 3 oldest grandkids (ages 12, 10, 8) 2 oldest are boys and the 8yr old is a girl. They loved it. From jumping off the dock, swimming, fishing, canoeing, playing horse shoes, camp fires, smores and more smores to playing lots of board games and cards (they brought their favourites) they didn't want to leave. The lake was beautiful and quite peaceful. Loved hearing the loons as we enjoyed the campfire. The kids said it checked all their boxes (which means it checked all of ours too). <3 We all had a fabulous week! Highly recommend!
