Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres has welcomed Big Bear travelers for generations while maintaining its rustic mountain character. Lodge renovations were completed in fall 2023, bringing refreshed comforts to this historic setting. Each cabin provides its own private accommodations, giving families, couples, and friends the opportunity to stay together on one property while still enjoying the added privacy and flexibility of individual cottages.

Spend your mornings taking in the views of Big Bear Lake or head just steps from the cabins to the shoreline. A seasonal shared boat dock and fishing area provide opportunities to enjoy the lake, while the summertime community swimming pool offers another place to cool off on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Back on land, your group can enjoy horseshoes, volleyball, outdoor table tennis, and a kids swing set.

The spacious grounds provide plenty of opportunities to gather beneath the pines.
