Comfy home just outside the bustle of Traverse City. We loved the open kitchen & living space, the beautiful outdoor space, and comfy beds. Owner was very responsive to any questions or needs that arose!
We had a great vacation at the house. It was very clean, nice amenities, good location, plenty of room. The yard was excellent for meals outside and playing with the kids. The ping pong table in the garage was a bonus.
Well appointed and lovely home. Great for our group of soccer families on a trip to TC. Easy to fine, very attentive property management, and an enjoyable space to unwind after a long day of tournament play!
This was a perfect place to land for the night after a day of winter adventures! Communication from the host was prompt and helpful. We found the home to be exactly as we expected based on the listing and hope to be back.
The house is in a good location for adventures in Glen Arbor and Traverse City. It was great to have so many towels and everything was clean (agree with other reviewer that more hooks would be helpful in the bathroom). Communication was excellent; very responsive.
We were an extended family staying the weekend at this gorgeous rental! The home’s styling was stunning! Every detail was perfect; the hosts thought of everything! I had an easy check in/out, and when we had questions, the hosts were very responsive. We loved it, and hope to come back and stay again!
Stay was comfortable and in a nice area, however the kitchen could be better stocked with things for those that cook and bake more. A small stool could be useful in the upstairs, hallway bathroom as well as towel hooks. Would recommend
Spacious, Comfortable Stay with a Few Things to Be Aware Of
The house had tons of space—perfect for our large family. The kitchen was well-equipped with great storage, and the backyard and fireplace were fantastic touches. We especially appreciated the stack of firewood ready for us. The property is dog-friendly, which we loved, and the yard is big enough for pets and kids to play comfortably. Check-in was easy—they even let us in 20 minutes early. We liked the keyless entry, garage access, and a large driveway that fit two SUVs, a truck, and a small car without any issues. Inside, there were plenty of towels, and checkout was simple—just start the dishwasher and take out the trash. As first-time VRBO users, the lack of a long cleaning list was a huge plus. However, a few things to note: The water pressure is poor, especially in the master bath. The well pump seems too small for the house’s size (I have a well too). Also, we noticed signs of septic/plumbing venting issues, though it didn’t directly affect us. The “5th bedroom” is actually a converted study with a pull-out sofa bed—uncomfortable and lacking privacy due to glass-paneled doors. Upstairs ceiling fan randomly turn on at night, likely due to a dimmer switch issue, but tower fans were available and worked well. The basement is under renovation, not a problem, just a heads-up.Also, after booking, you’ll need to complete a second rental app with a license upload and credit card deposit of 500. No issues with the return, but it was an extra administrative step worth noting.
