About this property
Your mountain getaway on 30 pristine acres! Beautiful home with hottub, stream.
This mountain home sits on 30 beautiful, wooded acres just South of Hwy 24. It sits high on a hill above the abandoned Colorado Midland Railroad from the 1800’s. Nestled in the pines, it overlooks a stream with several Beaver ponds and visiting wildlife. Feel complete privacy with no other houses in view yet easy access to all local attractions. Close to world class flyfishing at Eleven Mile Canyon, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Spinney Mountain Reservoir and the Dream Stream. The interior features 1900 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and large picturesque floor to ceiling windows in the spacious living room. A stone accent gas fireplace with 50" plasma TV above, completes the space. The home is superior in quality, featuring warm colors and comfortable furnishings. With the open concept, it is cozy enough for 2, but roomy enough for the whole family. You’ll enjoy cooking your meals in the large, modern, well stocked kitchen or grilling on the deck. Enjoy the Views from the 3 tiered deck or stargaze after a long day of outdoor activities in the 6 person Hot Tub.
As long time pet owners we would love for you to be able to bring your 4 legged family member along. Please advise us of the number and breed of dog you would plan to bring as we do have some restrictions and house rules that allow us to keep our home in pawsitive shape.
We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway has a few ups and downs, so we do recommend a 4 wheel drive for the winter and spring months.

We had a great stay here. The little touches like the artwork, the ongoing origami collection, etc. made this little jewel a truely pleasureable getaway for us. We had a great time celebrating my birthday by getting away from the city. Watching the hummingbirds every morning and evening was outstanding!

This is still one of the most amazing properites/places my wife and I vacation too. We have stayed here multiple times and each time, everything is perfect. This is a well maintained property, reasonable, and close to major attractions. Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful and smelled so clean when we walked in. The host was very responsive when I had questions during our stay. We enjoyed watching the mule deer and hummingbirds that would visit daily. The hot tub is such a nice touch to have on the property and is well maintained. The property is beautiful. It was so nice to feel like we were away from everything, but just a short drive into a nearby town to eat and explore.

Thanks so much for your great review! We love hearing that you enjoyed your stay at the Beaver Lodge.
The cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy some time away from the city life.
The house is great - a large living room, kitchen and dining room. It was very clean and very new. It is conveniently located 1 mile off of Hwy 24, but still in a beautiful setting.

Everything was really lovely! The cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities and items you’d need. The hot tub was awesome, and the house is close to highway which makes it convenient to get around. We enjoyed hiking in the area and around the property. Would stay again

We enjoyed our stay! Very spacious place, comfy and easy to get to. It is “close” to the road as in you can hear and see it but it’s not loud. The stars at night are gorgeous.

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for your wonderful review.
We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. It is perfectly located in an area that is serene and fun to explore, while still being within reach of all the necessities Woodland Park has to offer. The Eicher’s were terrific hosts. Kyle went out of his way to ship my son’s left behind backpack to us as soon as he discovered it. The cabin has everything you need for comfort and relaxation. Couldn’t recommend it and the Eicher’s more!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind words! So great to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Our stay at The Beaver Lodge was exactly what we needed - peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly refreshing. One of the highlights was the trail right next to the cabin; it’s a perfect path for hiking along the creek and watching the beaver ponds. At night, the stargazing is spectacular, and you can enjoy the view just as easily from the massive living room windows as you can from outside. We brought our little Yorkie, Cooper, who loved exploring all the new scents, though his hilarious standoff with the stuffed beaver on the living room shelf gave us plenty of laughs! We also had a blast participating in the house tradition of finding (and hiding) folded dollar bills. It was our first attempt at origami, and it’s such a fun, unique activity for couples or families. This was a spectacular visit, and we can’t wait to return!

Great to know you enjoyed your stay at the Beaver Lodge, thanks for your great review!
We had an amazing time during our stay. The house was even better than we expected, it is beautiful! The furnishings match the house to a t. The house has everything you need for a weekend stay like ours or for a much longer stay. We wish we had more time during our stay. I unfortunately aren’t able to do much hiking and exploring the acres, but my son did a little and he loved every second of it. I wanted to just relax and not think about my health situation, and I was able to do that very easily. I/we will definitely be back to the house for hopefully a longer stay. We did some exploring of the area and had a wonderful meal at a place called “Russ’s Place” the meal and service was outstanding! There are lots of places to explore in the area, so lots of things to do. We highly recommend staying at the Beaver Lodge you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and we loved hearing that you enjoyed your stay with your family! We hope to host you again sometime.
This is the third time we’ve stayed at one of Kyle’s cabins. We truly enjoy the acreage, seclusion and sense of getting away from everything, yet still being fairly close to civilization. We spent three days here. When we booked it, we planned to hike some of the trails on the property, but alas it snowed (early May - welcome to springtime in Colorado). We simply adjusted our plans and still thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, the fireplace, the grill and the hot tub. It’s difficult to beat sitting in a hot tub in the snow. Communication with Kyle was great. He sent a message to ensure we got checked in okay. He messaged to offer to plow the drive if we needed to go out. We were enjoying ourselves so much, we simply stayed put. Had a wonderful stay and definitely plan to stay at one of Kyle’s cabins again.

Thanks so much for your wonderful review and for being a returning customer, that means so much to us! We look forward to your next stay.
Absolutely everything about our stay at Beaver Lodge was fantastic. Kyle is THE best host, hands down. Responsive, thoughtful and accommodating. The Lodge is built rock-solid and very well maintained. The seclusion is spectacular, and it’s easily accessed just off the highway. Very quiet and dark at night. One recommendation for guests…remember to bring your own bath soap and shampoo. There’s a sizable selection left by former guests but you may not find what you want. All-in-all this property delivers an extraordinary getaway experience. We absolutely plan to return.
