This property has everything you'll need or want for an excellent mountain stay. The home is plenty large for a big group, but still has the cost cabin feel. My group had zero complaints about the property and the hosts were extremely easy to work with as they were both attentive and amenable. The entire house is curated to make for the perfect stay - and in our case, it absolutely did! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Ellijay. The cabin was very nice and well equipped with the necessities. Lovely furnishings and decor. We had a fun time visiting, playing, and relaxing. We would come here again.

Family Trip

Our family had a wonderful time. The house accommodated our needs and had everything we needed. Bath and kitchen were well-equipped with essentials. Site seeing and exploring Ellijay and nearby towns were a highlight to our week. The owners were responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend this home for your next mountain retreat.

Beautiful cabin getaway.

We really enjoyed a family get together at the cabin. Plenty of space for 13 people to sleep. Some additional family came up during the day one of the days and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The cabin was really clean and not too far from downtown Ellijay. Easy roads to navigate getting in and out. Highly recommend and plan on coming back!

Sweet Apple Cabin is sweet

This was an excellent choice for our family vacation. Our hosts were professional and courteous at all times. The property is brand new and everything was labeled and decorated beautifully. This made it so easy for us to enjoy. The activities were in driving distance and it was easy for all ages to enjoy hiking, tubing, white water rafting, fly fishing and golf. The fire pit with s’mores was a hit too. We didn’t get to all the nearby vineyards but hopefully next time we will. I’m sure in the fall during apple season it is amazing !

Our family has been visiting Ellijay and the surrounding areas of Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Macaysville, and Cherry Log for the past 10 years. The mountains, scenery, cabins, vineyards, orchards, hiking trails, and overall atmosphere are a perfect place to vacation all year around. There are different actitivies you can do depending on the time of year you visit or if you choose, you can just relax at the cabin and enjoy all the spaces created and amenities available for you. For this reason, we decided to build a vacation home in Ellijay and we want to invite you to visit as well. We hope you enjoy your stay at Sweet Apple Cabin as this place is our retreat and we hope it can be yours as well.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin was built in 2023 and it accommodates large families, within a gated community. It is secluded, yet very close to the beaufitul downtown of Ellijay, shopping stores, and restaurants. There are lots of activities to do, great wineries, restaurants, hiking trails, water activities, etc.
