Clean property, convenient location for public transportation to downtown, responsive property management, easy check-in. Only drawback is that's it's a basement so it's a little musty, but would still stay again.
What a wonderful stay my friend and I had, small hiccup in the beginning, a quick call and it was resolved quickly. Easy access getting into the apartment. The place was walking distance to a lot of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Plus across the street from a park and down the street from the Citidal. Would definitely stay again.
Great spot convenient for downtown old Charleston. Right on a nice park w a jogging trail . Two bedrooms w nice comfy mattresses and bedding - big plus! So for sleep and quiet and basic convenience of travel perfect. We just did Lyft all over town for 3 days straight and saw lots and lots of Charleston! For some reason the photos made me perceive it was first floor of a house and it was ground/basement level. So not lots of outdoor lighting coming in but the inside itself was just fine! Responsive to our need to drop bags early before check in. Recommend this spot highly
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The space was bright and welcoming, with an impressive amount of natural daylight that made it feel warm and inviting. Everything was very clean, and the location was incredibly convenient—within easy walking distance of many great dining options, plus a lovely park right across the street. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return.
Positives: comfy bed, good layout, proximity to Hampton Park and local restaurants (recommend Berkeley's)Negatives: parking - tricky to get out, really only for one car but we managed to squeeze two; sofa not as comfortable as it looks but not a deal breakerBe aware: because this is a basement unit, the ceilings are low - especially in the bathroom; the heating/cooling unit and the dehumidifiers did a great job of keeping the space comfortable but know that they do make significant background noise when in use
The place was very clean and in a nice neighborhood - very close to the Citadel. The place was great for a girl's weekend where we were on the go most of the time and the parking spot was very handy for our rental car. The park across the street was lovely. As this is a basement apartment, we could hear the footsteps of those upstairs, but it didn't bother us.
Perfect Stay - Clean, Comfortable and Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable and the perfect location for our stay with our two dogs being across the street from Hampton Park. All important information was communicated well and the property had some information about local happenings and things to do. Couldn’t ask for more!
Perfect location for our short visit to Charleston! Great space for my wife and me. We even walked to a dinner place the first night. Definitely would stay again.
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The apartment was a great space to relax and unwind. Beds were very comfortable. Across from a beautiful park you can walk or bike through.
Cute little place, clean, well taken care of. Nice neighborhood ..safe for walking in the park across the street, cafes and eateries and close to downtown Charleston. We enjoyed walking in the morning to Sightsee Cafe for coffee. If you’re into barbecue check out Lewis Bbq, it was highly recommended by our Uber drivers.
Came to Charleston for our daughter birthday and new year celebration. We really enjoy our stay, everything in the property seem brand new, and the host was team was perfect in responding our questions. Will definetly come again!
This VRBO is incredible! It is located in a house just a short walk away from King Street and super close to some great restaurants and coffee shops. The place was very well maintained and the host was incredibly responsive throughout the process. They were very diligent in making sure our stay was smooth and did an incredible job of seeking out advice to improve future guest experiences. Definitely will be staying again if possible.
The property was as described and easily walkable to restaurants as well as King street and the citadel. Very tall people might want to skip this one as it in the basement of an older home and the ceiling is quite low in the shower.
Outstanding property at an A location. Across/on the perimeter of Hampton Park and a very short walk to The Citadel campus. Great restaurants in walking distance, and for the medium-hearty, South of Broad is only about 2 flat miles away. It is a very safe and residential neighborhood and the neighbors we met were awesome. This property was dog friendly and our pug Ernie gives it two paws up too!!
Clean. Comfortable for our two night stay. Two couples Two bedrooms. One bathroom. Small kitchen, no oven or dishwasher, though, that did not matter to us. Perfect for a short stay. Within walking distance of The Citadel main gate. 15 min walk to Citadel football stadium . Unit is across from a beautiful park. Coffe shop and Restaurant 10 min walk. One car park in driveway. Street parking, no permit required on weekends. Basement unit. So, upstairs unit tenants could be heard walking and child running. Still, enjoyable and would book again.
