I was traveling home to see my mom with my three adult children and their significant others. It was important to me that everyone had their own space. Wherever we stayed, we needed something for everyone. Little R&R checked boxes that we didn’t know we had. The lush green grass in the yard was a pleasant surprise! We are already planning another trip!

We loved the house and all its amenities and would definitely rent it again. One recommendation however. The air conditioner should be set to cool to 69 prior to arrival. We arrived hot and tired to the house that registered 74 degrees. We were miserable and no one could sleep that first night. We came extremely close to relocating to a hotel. The remaining nights were ok since the air conditioner finally had time to work.

Loved the Little R&R

Our group stayed at the Little R&R while we were in Casper for a memorial service. The property is wonderful and was large and sprawling enough for us to entertain a large group after the service. The lodging was great and there was plenty of room for everyone.

We had a wonderful stay! Had a snow storm and within hours the driveway was cleared! Very unique property with a lot of history, would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet stay with beautiful scenery!

Jewel by the river

The pleasure of staying at a historical site was a bonus. The grounds and venue are so uniquely beautiful. We had a family reunion and spoke with an upcoming wedding party and couldn't argue which would be more perfect. The owner was so accommodating and the home was a perfect mix of local history and rustic charm. We will de be back!

Group convention

Absolutely beautiful spot on the river. Reservation and check in fabulous, and communication with Host wonderful. I communicated directly with the Host, Wendy, and she instantly responded to our needs. There were some supply issues and some maintenance issues, but overall we enjoyed our stay tremendously. I would recommend this property to large groups without hesitation (we had 11). However, some of the sleeping accommodations were a bit tough for older adults (futon needs to be replaced). Thank you for the R&R at the R&R!!

Nice property. A lot of room, comfortable beds, a lot of tools in the kitchen and a lot of notes/signs about the place an where everything was. Great place to see wildlife (mule deer, birds, turkey) and farm animals. Says there is a ¼ mile of river access, but due to a treed shoreline there is about 10 ft to access the river. The water was was up to the bank with a swift current, so fishing was impossible. Other than the 10ft, there is no view of the river from the property. The one message to the host was replied to 15 hours later.

LITTLE RR GETAWAY

We stayed at the little rr train station and it was exactly what we needed. We were in Casper for a hockey tournament with our boys and this was a great choice to stay here. The boys brought their xbox and they had time in between games to just relax like we were at home. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and we enjoyed the quiet farm house atmosphere, having morning coffee and looking over the river at the mountains is a great view in the morning! One of the guys from the property brought us farm fresh eggs and of course they were great! The hospitality was awesome and just a great experience for all of us! If you want peace and quiet, and something still very close to town, this is the place! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of space, and it was only about a 5 min drive to town. I wish we could give more than 5 stars, it honestly felt like home!
