This unforgettable retreat vacation rental is in the heart of downtown Cashiers!! The 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin has room for the entire family and plenty of outdoor space. Entertain by the outside fire pit on a nice night! Walking for shopping, dinner and fun is all right out your back door.

Take in a hike, paddleboarding, rent a boat or fishing on the lake. There is tubing and skiing right down the road at the Sapphire Valley lodge for some winter fun.
The location is an easy walk over to the local Brewery, Bucks Coffee shop or The Farmers Market and much more.

Quaint mountain getaway

We enjoyed our stay and was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway. I would say there are areas of the property that were dated but we were there to enjoy the mountains and spend quality time with friends. It was perfect for that!

Very nice Cottage

The cottage was very nice inside. The only negative would have been getting into the cottage, there are no handrails but if you pull around back there is an entrance off the deck. But all in all it was a great place.

Great for Kids

We really enjoyed our stay. My kids were outside the whole time. An amazing property for them to run around and explore. We took advantage of the indoor and outdoor fireplace. The house was clean and photos accurate. Just note that one of the listed bedrooms, you can’t access without leaving the main living space, going outside and entering through a very musty/unfinished basement. Thankfully we didn’t need to use that space.

Thank you for that review but if you look back at the listing...the basement location.....is not listed as a bedroom at all. It is listed as a "work space". Glad the kids loved the yard it is a very good location for that and to connect as a family.

Some issues, but love house

Cons: outside house and fire pit had not been cleaned but they came next day to pressure wash. One of the beds broke and had to sleep on couch. Pros: location and feel of being way up mountain House is very cute and has plenty of room. Overall we had a good time and would rent again as long as bed was fixed next time. A few things missing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a few things missing for your “guest”. The kitchen setup needs some attention. No paper towels, sparsely furnished, the towels and linens were mediocre. We have stayed in several VRBO’s in then Cashiers area that were a bit more luxurious and for a lesser price. We enjoyed the fire pit, as the weather was perfect! I left first but my friends could not get the garbage cab open. We left out garbage with the bags tied in the kitchen… and there are now more garbage bags in the house. We had a great time.

Less than expected

the property looks much better on VRBO than actual. The downstairs area is cold and musty and you must walk through unfinished area to find. The outside amenities are less than desirable and the access road to the property is bad. It was not a great experience. My first ever VRBO negative comment.

I’m sorry the road leading to the house is not fully owned by the house owners So there is nothing they can do without other owner agreeing to fix. Is it bumpy yes it’s a mountain road but that being said it’s nowhere close to a hard steep climb like many driveways. The extra room downstairs is underground in a mountain atmosphere which is hard to keep from getting a musk smell. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy the outside fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs. It is a nice area to gather and have a fire. Did you walk all the trails that lead to Bucks coffee shop, WhiteSide Brewery and into town. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay we don’t like to hear unsatisfied guest. I wish you would have called while your were at the house we would have done anything to help improve your stay.

Great Family Time in Cashiers!

My family and I enjoyed 4 days at this wonderful cottage. We were in town for a camp event and loved the location and comfort of this home. The kitchen has been updated since the pictures and we really enjoyed the new decor and functionality. The layout of living space and bedrooms worked nicely for our family. The property has great outdoor spaces including the fire pit, hammocks and hot tub. Sadly our time was raining and we didn’t get to utilize. It is a great street for walking into town. A previous review mentions the long road into property and some less desirable views on the way in. Do not let that be a deterrent. It is just part of the local flavor and part of being in a mountain town. I enjoyed walking to Bucks coffee and Fusion Yoga. We picked up dinner from then new Village Pantry. I highly recommend this lovely cottage.

We are a family from FL that loves getting away to the area of Cashiers. We want to offer you a chance to enjoy our house as much as we do. I have 4 boys and they love playing for hours outside running round throwing the football. We mostly enjoy evening by the fire roasting a few marshmallows. This house is a great place to relax and enjoy the family time that can be so hectic back home.

Why this property? There is so much to do in the area and you are right in the center of it all. There is something to do for all ages. From Shopping to eating and even walking to the park nearby. Enjoy a long weekend with family, girls or guys weekend away. Cashiers is just a quaint place to visit and the people are friendly.

The cottage is located in a very quiet private area right in the heart of the Downtown Cashiers area....You are so close but at the house you will fill privacy from neighbors not right beside you.
