Good area

Marcela property by Cayala was clean, safe and comfortable. She was very open for communication. I will be renting from her in any upcoming Guatemala trip that involves Cayala.

Upon arrival property was filthy and unsafe. “Workers” were using apartment as walk through. Some windows would not lock and it was communicated to host. She stated she had no other apartments and had no solution. Bedsheets were discolored and had blood stains on them. Communication with property manager was done through WhatsApp vs VRBO app which was a big red flag to begin with. We tried to resolve issues with host, but found no proper solution. We had to rebook to a hotel. As I write this VRBO has not solved or refunded our money. BEWARE!

La huesped es demasiado complicada, el edredón tenia una mancha y se le mando a cambiar sabanas y edredón de todo. Queria que le cambiara el colchon de igual manera a pesar de que el colchon tenia protector de colchon. El colchon estaba en perfecro estado pero ella vio una mancha y queria que se lo cambiara. Le ofreci toda la ayuda que se pudo, hizo esperar a mis empleadas por 1:30 para no dejarlas hacer nada. Se fue sin decirme absolutamente nada. Y no dejo que se le ayudara. Se quejo de todo lo que pudo, cuando el apartamento lo tengo en perfectas condiciones.
