This is such a classic New Orleans home. It was beautifully decorated and so comfortable for our family. Our only regret was that we were only there one night!

This property was incredibly relaxing to come home to after busy days of being out visiting friends and family. The beds are super comfy, and it was easy to want to stay and read a book on the front porch. We loved the kitchen and had a blast making breakfast there every morning. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. The art and decor all around the property made the stay even more interesting! We will definitely be back!

I've stayed at a lot of rentals in New Orleans over the years and this is the best. Beautiful home on a quiet tree lined street. Impeccably decorated, antique furniture, gargantuan primary bathroom, quaint front porch and backyard hangout. Walking distance to Jazz Fest. Very responsive host. What more could anyone ask?

Thanks for staying, Bill. We appreciate you alerting us to one of the outdoor lights being out, it is fixed now. I'm sorry you didn't feel safe on the stairs even with walls on both sides. Best wishes.
We had an incredible 4-night stay at this beautifully furnished home over the Christmas holiday! The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The hosts were fantastic—attentive, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. The location was ideal, situated in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to plenty of restaurants and attractions. During our visit, we enjoyed golfing at TPC Louisiana and English Turn Golf Club, exploring Bourbon Street, and dining at amazing spots like Toups Meatery, Kingfish Kitchen and Mulate’s. We also had fun trying our luck at Caesars Casino, all just a short UBER trip away. This home truly felt like a perfect retreat after each day of adventure. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely stay here again when we’re back in New Orleans!

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Main Floor: The main floor bathroom is poorly maintained, with a door that does not shut properly, a tub that drains slowly, and badly repaired porcelain. The main floor bedroom is drafty and the large windows give neighbors a great view inside unless you want the curtains permanently closed. The main floor bedroom also features an uncomfortable pillow top bed. Beware of the spongy entryway floors as well.Property: The neighbors have loud dogs that run to the fence line and growl (not great if you have kids).Upstairs: The upstairs floor is quite lacking in natural light as well as privacy. The stairs lead directly into the room.Owners: There was a maintenance issue that plagued our stay. The owners started out helpful, but turned hostile and defensive when they were unable to resolve the issue and we attempted to negotiate a fair refund.

We disagree with several statements in this review. Upon being notified of the maintenance issue, we immediately hired a licensed plumber and offered a reasonable refund for the inconvenience. No other concerns were raised during the stay. Our home is a character property that was fully renovated and furnished in 2023. We encourage prospective guests to review our many consistent, positive reviews for an accurate representation of the property and our responsiveness as hosts.
Wonderful location and such responsive hosts! This is an incredibly charming and beautiful house!
