Great cabin house that was very clean and close by the lake. The only issue we had was the main kitchen refrigerator is not properly working. It does not stay cool enough to preserve food.
Great stay! The host was very communicative and response to our questions before and during the stay. Home is cozy and well furnished, with ample space for relaxing and play. Strong recommendation!
This property was beautiful! It had the perfect balance of log cabin vs. modern vibes. There were more than enough rooms/beds for all the guest with amazing amenities. While it is a 30 minute drive to the nearest town/city, the views of the lake are beautiful. The property manager was available for any questions/concerns was was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake view cabin. Ample bedding choices, fully stocked kitchen and 2 full renovated bathrooms provided all the amenities required by our group of two families. The hot tub and fire pit added to the experience. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Shawn was gracious enough to accomodate our late check out request.
The property is very nice, with two steep driveways built into the hill below the home. The property was listed as having 4 bathrooms, but it only has 2 FULL baths, which are lovely--but still a misrepresentation. Despite the non-working refrigerator compartment of the large fridge/freezer, we managed to enjoy the rest of the home for the week. (Thank goodness the owner had recently added a mini-fridge after hearing from a June 2025 renter that there was a problem with the main refrigerator.) We were not well treated by the owner with this situation and would not rent from him again.
I have no words to express how we felt about staying at this cabin. We didn't want to leave. Beautiful scenery. So peaceful and relaxing. Definitely would stay there again. The owner is very kind.
Very clean. Would appreciate end of visit chore information at check in. Better instructions for how to operate and balance heating and cooling equipment would be helpful. Host’s communications were friendly and informative.
Great layout for a hanging out! The teens enjoyed the first floor living room, while the adults gathered upstairs. There were nine of us and we had plenty of space.Nice view of the lake from both levels and the hot tub was a fun bonus. We would love to find time to visit again in the summer too!
I stayed for a long weekend with 6 friends. The space was perfect for relaxing and was a quick walk to Lake George just across the street. The large table and outdoor seating were perfect for our group. The house is a short drive to Hague or Bolton Landing where there are restaurants and shops, and we found lots of great hiking options nearby. We can't wait to come back again in the future!
We were a group of 8 and stayed for 3 days.
Location: Was great. Able to cover fall foliage in Adirondacks and VT.
House: it is just 2 bathrooms. Wish there was another. House was clean. Used kitchen on all 3 days. Adequate plates n utensils. Could use a new set of pots n pans.
Enjoyed staying there.
Great for triathlon, remote getaway, and coworking
The house was the perfect size for our group of eight - we certainly could have fit more, but it made for a comfortable stop with close by access to the lake and hiking. We came primarily for the Ticonderoga triathlon and to reunite as friends; was quite close for our race start. Temperatures were great in June and the AC worked well. Definitely loved the hot tub after the chill of the lake!

Lake
Seems to be to many rules at the "lake," neighbors did not make us feel welcome when we went there. The house was awesome and very clean, and we did enjoy ourselves.
Shawn was very pleasant to deal with.

Vacation House
My family and I had a wonderful vacation, but unfortunately there was a lot of inaccuracies of the description for us. There was NO private beach access. We tried to go and the neighbors yelled at us saying we didn’t have private access. But it said it right in the heading of this listing. That’s the main reason why we picked this house. The house was on a huge steep hill which was not kid-friendly, especially for toddlers. When we arrived we walked through the screen room where the jacuzzi is and it was filthy. The big long table was very dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. The refrigerator was not working correctly and did not keep our food cold, which lead into us throwing away a lot of food that we bought. The new bbq was filthy as well and my husband had to scrub down the grill grates before we can even use it. When we booked this house, we read many great reviews. But unfortunately this wasn’t our experience when we did pay a lot of money to stay here. I am writing this so other people can take this into consideration before booking with their young children especially.
The house is very comfortable and it has all the amenities we needed. Neighbors are very friendly and access to the community beach is great. The house was clean. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise given that we had a cold rainy day. We will be back.
We had an amazing stay at this property! The house is gorgeous—spacious, well maintained, and clean. Our group consisted of two families with a total of 11 people, ranging from toddlers to teens (11 months to 15 years old), and everyone had a fantastic time. The top deck was a highlight, complete with a grill, corn hole, and a stunning view of the lake—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The basement provided a great hangout spot for the kids, where they had a blast playing darts and ring toss. We also loved the hot tub—it was the perfect place to unwind with a cup of coffee after our hike. The wall-mounted heating/AC units ensured the home was always at the perfect temperature, no matter the weather outside. There are two kayaks available for use, and the private beach across the road. While the photos on the listing are a bit outdated, they still give a good idea of what to expect. Plus, Walmart is just a 20-minute drive away, which was really convenient for picking up anything we needed. The property owner/manager was fantastic—extremely responsive and helpful with any questions or small issues that came up during our stay. Overall, this was a memorable experience, and we would definitely return!
We had the best time staying in at this home in Hague! It seriously felt like we were nestled in a tree house. The house was well equipped with everything you would need from bedding to towels to cooking utensils and more. It was clean and very cozy. They were plenty of games, and even an amazing brand new hot tub. It was private and only a short walk to a beach area. We took full advantage of the beach and two kayaks included with the property. We have been staying on Lake George for over five years now and this was by far our favorite place! We plan to be back.
Arrive during daylight if possible the scenic views on the drive there are amazing. A wonderful house that met above our expectations. All newly renovated and with Class, quality furnishings and even the towels and blankets were high end. The owner was so personable it was like we knew him as a friend, he made sure we were okay during the snow storm. You couldn't ask for a nicer owner or for a nicer place, you will not be disappointed we had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. They even had an XBOX for the kids and a Dart Board for the Adults, this owner thought of everything.... If you love the lake, skiing or hiking this is the place for you. Thank You for a Wonderful Time.
First, I want to thank the host for sharing this beautiful home with people for family get togethers and memories we will never forget! The home is BEAUTIFUL! Clean and had everything you would need minus food (did have spices if you forgot some). Cooking utensils, great quality pots and pans. Even had a wine opener that came in use for our dinner. My mother was excited and her Mothers Day was celebrated with her whole family... including her grandchildren. Beds were comfortable. Home decorated beautifully. Nice woodstove, huge hot tub, nice bedding and towels. Showers were huge! The feel of the house was cozy and loved the wood in the main room. Nice decks with a grill, seating and cornhole. We played many games and shared lots of laughs.
The downstairs room had a nice queen bed with a pink headboard (my moms favorite color). The couch is large and fit the whole family to spend time together and watch tv on the large Samsung flatscreen. The host even provided wifi which made connecting to Netflix a ease. The house was so beautiful and close to the beach that TV wasnt needed. Large table that fit the family. Beautiful island and appliances. Host even had darts and a ring toss game in the downstairs living area. Host provided extra blankets in the rooms, and even a basket full of throw blankets near the large couch downstairs. Each room had its own heater control which was perfect for those of us who prefer to sleep in different climates. I could go on. Will be back! Ty! :)
Every year a few couples get together after the holidays without the kids. This place worked out great. Lot of room to socialize, beds were very comfortable and great views of the lake.
The cozy cabin was a great place for 2 families to stay, we had 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 10. Everything was wonderful we enjoyed our stay for sure. Just a few suggestions, there are NO dressers or use of closets so prepare to live out of a luggage; this was challenging especially with kids. The loft area up top is just way to hot to use in the summer, so don't plan to utilize the beds up top unless you bring fans to circulate the air. Aside from that our Lake George 2024 vacation was amazing.
