We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Pamela’s property - we actually stayed in the east wing guest suite in her home. Everything was very clean, comfortable, private and dog-friendly! Pam was very responsive with communication ahead of time and is just a lovely person to visit with! Her property is 5 acres and is very quiet and beautiful - it seems like you’re miles away from civilization, but shopping and restaurants are actually only a few minutes away. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area - highly recommended!
A beautiful, romatic and spacious property. Very private and quite.
We found a gem. Pamela is a wonderful host and talented artist. Her property is beautiful....absolutely beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin is delightful. Coffee on the porch with the bluebirds is recommended.
In few words, this is a hidden gem!!My wife and I, as well as our puppy, decided to have a weekend getaway and found The Bunkhouse. Mrs. Pam was extremely inviting and accommodating making sure we were taken care of at all times! Spent a relaxing day in Jackson Saturday morning then spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. Definitely added to our list of return locations!!
I loved the comfortable bed, cleanliness, spaciousness, vintage decorations and minty green colors! The owner is more generous with providing ample paper products and other supplies than anywhere I’ve ever booked.I do wish the raised area, where the bed and bathroom are, was divided by a PROTECTIVE BARRIER for the raised concrete step up that goes up to them. Or at least the step painted a bright cautionary color to draw an old lady’s attention to the step up. I nearly fell twice by tripping on the raised step; cracking many toes each time. Falling on that concrete floor could be serious….All that said, I would really love to stay again. I’ll just barricade the step with something that gets my attention next time! :)
We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Bunkhouse! Pamela was a wonderful host and treated us like family. My teens enjoyed the pool and blueberries, and I was able to relax and savor some quiet days while they were at camp. Highly recommend!!
