This property was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely helpful and very organized and detailed with her communication. The property was very clean and nicely decorated, with all the amenities supplied. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, kayaking, fishing, relaxing on the deck with a book; and the wood fired hot tub was a special treat. We will definitely keep this property on our list for future vacations.

Amazing location for a college friend/family reunion

Wow, what a magical place to stay! The cabin was clean as a whistle and supplied everything from linens to hand soap to laundry detergent - even beach towels! The kids enjoyed the swim platform in the lake and everyone enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards. We loved boating over to the rope swing across the lake. A group of six boys had fun in the spacious bunk room. One thing to note: the twin loft is only accessible by a ladder. Not a game changer for us, but a slight challenge for the adults staying up there.

Friendcation 2025

We had the best time at your cabin this week! Our group had four families with kids of all ages. All of us had an amazing time and were so impressed with this home from the moment we pulled into the property. We had a great time using all of the fun activities outdoors. We had a blast, jumping off the dock, swimming, fishing, and swinging from the rope swing across the pond. Inside, the home had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed so many meals together and special times with friends and family. We laughed until it hurt and stayed up way too late. We can’t wait to come back to your cabin again someday. Thank you so much for sharing it with us, we are so thankful for you! Also, Danielle was so responsive anytime we needed anything or had questions throughout the week. 10/10 highly recommend to anyone!!

The cabin at Effley Pond

This is our second visit to the cabin. Not sure where to begin but this place is like a little piece of heaven. The grounds and surrounding area are perfect. There’s places for swimming, fishing, kayaking, badminton, volleyball, and a hot tub. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! Oh and let’s not forget the fire area. Large and seats for everyone. So quiet and peaceful! This is just the outside. Inside there are 2porches for morning coffee visits or family puzzle time. Ample room and spaces to gather for games and meals. There is a well equipped kitchen that has just about anything you need to prep and cook with. If you forgot a tool it’s probably in there. The host is easily accessible and responsive. We hope to go back the entire family loves it there! Thank you for having us!

We had a lovely family reunion of older siblings at the Cabin at Effley Falls Pond. The pond/lake is very quiet and has bald eagles , loons, and many fish. The porches and decks privide many opportunities to take in the views. We kayaked and swam daily.Danielle was very welcoming and responsive. Her property manager, Bryan, was very reliable and personable.My husband thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub which did take some time to heat up, as it is wood fired.The cabin was lovely, clean and well stocked with great appliances, pots and pans, grill etc.We would rent the cabin again in a heart beat!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the cabin as a group. Everything about this property is special - inside and out. Danielle is the absolute best host and made sure once again that our stay was unforgettable.Spending time at the water, around the fire, reading on the porch or anything else you do here is an escape in the best way possible!
