Clara House is a nice house, well furnished, but there were some broken tiles. Beware of the top step, it’s steep and could be a slipping hazard. The beds were comfy, but no extra blankets. There were multiple different types of pillows. The fans and AC worked great. Backyard was nicely laid out with 4 separate seating areas, but they didn't want parties in the backyard that was set up to seat at least 20, so I’m not sure what that was about? The water pressure upstairs was low, but downstairs was OK, and the water took a long time to warm up, but once it was hot, it was hot. The kitchen was well stocked with dish ware, utensils, pots and pans, and appliances. There were plenty of towels. The house had a lot of charm, crown moulding, medallions that the ceiling fans hung from, throw pillows in the couch. The upstairs shared room was a little strange. It had 1 full size bed and 2 twin beds, one of which was in an alcove that may have been a closet at one point? The room with the king size bed had a sleigh chaise lounge that was lovely and a large closet. The downstairs room with a full size bed had a large closet and desk with a mirror to sit and get ready for the day. Clara House comfortably fit our party of 5. It wasn’t far from Sacramento and the downtown area there, near shopping in Yuba and close enough to go visit my family that lives in Marysville, since we were there for a family reunion. Maria was quick to respond to texts and answer questions. I’d stay there again.
