The unit itself is excellent with a few caveats. Moise such as lound talking and foot thumping was annoying , especially after 11PM. The parking situation was atrocious! Most times one must drive around the block several times and pray for a spot to open. Neighborhood is a bit questionable.

Worst stay through VRBO. We rent often to visit family in Troy. For our stay, I emailed the manager three times about arriving after midnight; no response. Due to torrential rain, we arrived at 4:30 AM Friday. The entry instructions were completely inaccurate, leaving us locked out. I called, texted, and emailed the manager with no reply. VRBO customer service also tried reaching her to no avail. We couldn't enter until noon on Friday.Once inside, we found major cleanliness and maintenance issues:• Kitchen/Living: The coffee machine had mold, the filter was dirty, and dishes in the cabinet had food on them. The trash can opener was broken, and the couch is heavily worn.• Bedroom: The bed had someone else's hair on it. The bedside lamp was broken and had to be manually fixed to work.• Exterior: The concrete step outside was broken with exposed nails sticking out—a major safety hazard that can catch clothing or skin.The manager took ownership initially and promised to send someone to fix these issues, but nobody ever showed up. We would never stay here again. Extremely disappointed.

Property was great! Neighborhood was a bit run down yet only a block from the Governors mansion. Kind of Ironic. Walked to downtown took 10 min. Couple nice Neighborhood bars around the corner.

We enjoyed our stay in Albany. The apartment was just as pictured. It was very clean and cozy and well stocked with the necessary amenities. Communication with the host was excellent. The proximity to the MVP Arena was ideal. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful accommodations right in the heart of Albany! I was in town for a work trip, and this place exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spotless, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared everything was. The home was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and had everything I needed after long days of meetings and exploring the city.The foam mattress was incredibly comfortable—honestly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had away from home. The deep soaking bathtub was an unexpected luxury and the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Every detail felt intentional, from the cleanliness to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere.I also have to mention how exceptional the host was. Communication was quick, friendly, and incredibly responsive. When I needed a parking pass, the owner arranged it for us almost immediately, which made arriving and settling in so much easier. While parking isn’t directly in front of the property, I always found a spot very close by and never had an issue.The location could not have been better—close to everything in downtown Albany while still feeling private and relaxing. If you’re visiting for business or pleasure, I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Five stars all the way!
