Clean, comfy house within walking distance to downtown Southern Pines

We had a wonderful stay at Getaway in the Pines for our Galentine’s weekend! There were four of us, and the home had plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and everything was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The location was a big highlight ~ it was a quick walk to downtown Southern Pines to enjoy the restaurants, boutiques, and all the Southern charm. Since half of us live in Raleigh and the other half in Charlotte, it was the perfect halfway meeting spot for the weekend. There’s also a great fire pit tucked away in the large backyard and cornhole boards in the laundry room. We didn’t have time to use either ~ next time! The host was prompt with communication, provided all the information we needed, and followed up to make sure our stay went smoothly. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was incredible. So much character. Perfect spot in downtown Southern Pines. Room for our local family to play games in the front yard and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. Easiest check in and out process. Will definitely book this house again next time!

The property was nice and clean. It would have been nice to have been told we should bring laundry detergent. Also, pillows need to be updated along with towels as they had bleach marks on them. Location was great and we enjoyed our stay 👍

Very well furnished home, generous sized bedrooms, kitchen and dining/living room area and newly renovated master bathroom. It has back and front lawns and carport and even a firepit and a BBQ. Adjacent to Weymouth House and the walking trails and three blocks from the charming main street in Southern Pines. Also close to the art gallery at Campbell House and the wonderful Sunrise Theatre. House was spotless on our arrival and we liked the generous supply of kitchenware and bathroom toiletries. Pots and pans in abundance, two coffee makers, lots of dishes and plates and even a supply of dark roast coffee pucks. Nice touch! Very relaxing, quiet neighbourhood but also near the ‘action’ of downtown. Lovely balance. Host was wonderful to deal with, pleasant and efficient,

Our family was extremely pleased with this rental. The interior was tastefully decorated. I especially loved the dining room. Extra supplies were available and the kitchen was well equipped. The location to downtown and to Weymouth could not have been better. If all goes well for us, we may consider renting this same property next year.
