Great house

The house was amazing, and our host was even more amazing. The host greeted us at check in and even gave recommendations. He was very friendly, and super responsive to messages. The house was lovely, and had everything we needed. Will stay here again the next time we visit the island.

Upon arrival, our 4 bedroom unit was instead a 2 bedroom unit and a studio basement apartment 20 minutes away, with no pool access, no beach access, and FULL OF ANTS. VRBO customer service was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP!

They cancelled our reservation and told us they don’t know how VRBO even let us book it because the property was closed. They said they would fully refund us but have NOT and to call a number get help with rebooking. When I called the number it just rang and then disconnected. I tried several times and never got through.

The property was actually 2- 2 BR/2BA villas vs 1 unit with 4 BR/4BA. The owner was very pleasant and responsive when we arrived. Communication kind of tapered off after reporting the 2nd unit having an ant problem. Unfortunately, it was never addressed on the inside. We bought our own bug spray but that didn't resolve the issue. The properties are very modern but some of the furniture, towels and bedding were very worn. There was an upstairs terrace that was furnished with very beautiful views. The property itself is located up a very steep winding road within a neighborhood not beachfront as the picture might suggest. You can drive to the access point to the beach resort. If you rent a car a jeep is probably best.to tackle the hills.

Spacious accommodations in paradise

We enjoyed the beach and mountain views from the huge rooftop terrace. The side by side apartments worked out perfectly for our family since our children are older. The girls had one side and we took the other with our son. It was fantastic to have 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens! Romario was so helpful and the Dawn Beach Club staff is amazing. The beach was beautiful and easy to get to but you definitely want to have a car. We would definitely stay again.
