Modern & Moody on Monkey Island is a newly completed 4000 sq.ft., lakefront home that sleeps 12 adults+2 kids with 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms that includes a bunk room for the kids. Modern & Moody is Located on Monkey Island less than a mile from the Shangri La Resort, Golf Clubhouse, Championship courses and world class dining. The Anchor kids' zone is also less than a mile and features pickleball, basketball, pool, shuffleboard, video games and more! This beautifully designed modern home has an open floor plan with the master bedroom, a guest suite and 2.5 baths on the lower level. The upper level has three bedrooms; two guest suites w/ bathrooms and a bunk room w/ bath for the kids. The owners have equipped this property with premium furniture and all bedrooms have king beds. The bunk room has two full over full bunk beds (4 full beds) and is equipped with video games, board and card games. The outdoor space boasts a huge, covered porch with outdoor kitchen, oversized tv and plenty of premium seating. The extended outdoor entertainment area features a sunken seating area with firepit and hot tub that overlooks the lake with unparallel views! This house is better than the photographs. It's one of those places that feels like a good time the minute you enter. The lake view, open floorplan and large covered back patio made for a perfect common area to entertain all the guests staying in the 5 bedrooms. The appointments were thoughtful and high-end. The place feels more like a fancy friend's home than a vacation rental. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to serve dinner to everyone. It was super clean upon arrival. Highly recommend this property.

This property is a gorgeous property that has only received a four star rating one other time than this review. When we asked Ron for feedback he stated he didn’t remember leaving a review. The only issues brought to our attention was there was only a kcup and not a multicup coffee maker which was stated in the digital welcome guide had Ron read the guide. Since we added a multicup coffee maker. The other issue was cushions on upper outside deck were blown around by storm between cleaning and arrival.
