Licorice Lagoon- LIVING This space was created for the guest experience! The living room and kitchen provide an open area for guests to relax and enjoy one another's company. With a couch suitable for lounging, watching your favorite Netflix series, or winning a game of Candy Land, you'll find a sense of fulfillment here.
Cupcake Commons- KITCHEN The kitchen is fully stocked to provide all you need for cooking, snacking, and making your morning cup of coffee. We provide a drip coffee maker, Keurig, and French Press along with complimentary K-cups and various ground coffee flavors for you to enjoy.
Lollipop Woods- BEDROOM Just off the living room towards the front of the home is a hallway leading to two bright, and fun-colored bedrooms. Are you more into the royal purples and lavish plum? Then the bedroom to the left is for you! This bedroom has a Queen size bed and closet with hangers for use during your stay.
Gummy Hills- BEDROOM Love the exciting teals and oranges!? The bedroom to the right of the hallway is furnished just right! This bedroom has a Queen size bed and closet with hangers for use during your stay.
Ice Palace- BATHROOM Between the bedrooms in the hallway is a bathroom with tub/shower combo. This bathroom provides Cotton Balls, Plackers, Q-tips, and a Hair Dryer along with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.
Candy Castle- PRIMARY SUITE Off the back of the kitchen in the rear of the home is the primary suite that meets you with cheerful yellows. This room has a King size bed and floor standing mirror. The attached bathroom provides a luxe walk-in shower and mid-size vanity. The closet in the bathroom is used for owner's supplies and is not accessible for guest use. This bathroom provides Cotton Balls, Plackers, Q-tips, and a Hair Dryer along with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.
LAUNDRY Around the corner from the kitchen is a laundry room with washer/dryer along with detergent pods, dryer sheets, a steamer, and extra hangers for hang-drying clothes if needed.
EXTERIOR This home is the first floor of a Duplex/Townhome. There is another unit upstairs that guests will not have access to during the stay. This home does not have a backyard or rear entrance. You will use the front door to access the home along with your unique door code.
Keyless Entry- Guests will be provided a unique door code for entry. This code will be used on the keypad providing access to the front door.
Parking- Being that the home is located in the downtown Wilmington area, parking for the home is not set as designated spaces, however there is no shortage of street parking located out front of the home and it is free to park. We recommend a maximum of 2-3 cars to ensure enough room for all. If spaces out front of the home are not available, parking across the street or on a nearby corner is allowed! We ask that you park mindfully and follow guidelines of any signage or marked spaces.

The host was very accommodating and responsive, which made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The home was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, allowing us to rest well each night. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others and would be happy to stay here again.
Clean and very comfy place to stay. The bathrooms and kitchen were great ans decor was cheerful. We were able to walk to places downtown and also walk to Oakdale Cemetery. Bellamy Mansion is only 8 blocks away and there are many local pubs and restaurants within a few blocks.

Location was perfect for a concert we attended. The house was clean and provided enough room for our group. Our host was very friendly and available if needed.
I booked this place for my fiancé and her daughters. They love One Tree Hill as does everyone in this town apparently lol. It’s in the perfect location right near all of the sites that were on the show. They loved all of the food options in the area. Most of all they loved this placed. They loved the candy themed rooms and that it had everything they needed for their stay. Luke was an amazing host and answered all questions and was quick to respond. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was great and rental as expected. The house is older, but was clean and decorated nicely. Lots of amenities like soft towels, pillows, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. Host was highly responsive. Would stay again!
We enjoyed staying here very much. The interior was clean, well appointed, and exactly as presented in the listing. There were a few bars and restaurants just around the block, in an easy walk. We gave four instead of five stars, only because of our check in process - our door code did not work, and my text chat with the host was slow to respond in the moment. I had to call the VRBO help number. After waiting on hold for a few minutes we did get a secondary code which did work, so it ended well. My only other caution is for mobility challenged people, that the front steps outside were a bit steep for me, although we made it work. Other than that, the host was very kind and answered all my questions. Really nice, comfortable house for our family of five adults. Recommend

This property was well cared for, well stocked with essentials, and most importantly, great location to businesses in Wilmington. We all agreed we would stay here again!
This location did not disappoint. They answered every question we could have asked in advance and the pictures are super accurate. Who definitely rebook again.
We were in Wilmington for a long weekend. I knew about the arts district but never stayed there. It’s a great area to stay! Lot’s of small, local neighborhood bars/restaurants.The house was very clean and reflected exactly what was in the pictures online. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay.
I booked this place last minute for a local concert and could not have been happier. Luke was an excellent host and everything was as advertised. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Wilmington!
Luke is definitely a super host! Having themed rooms and a colorful decor matched the Historic Brooklyn Art District in Wilmington. Funky and fun. Didn’t realize we would have a family above us, but they were quiet in the evening and overnight. Beds were comfortable, clean and pillows stacked. Bathrooms had been nicely upgraded and well stocked. Kitchen was well stocked including candy jars to go with theme. Good coffee including a grinder for freshest. Easy walk to fine dining and the waterfront. Recommend for friends get away.
Loved our stay. Luke was a great host. House is located within walking distance to just about everything downtown. Dog friendly. Hope to come back soon.
