Gracias for the review but I think the review may be mixed up with some were else you stayed as the property is a small house not a hotel and does not advertise a bar or restaurant. The local town has many bars, restaurants and other amenities. In regards to paying extra for the air con this also must be a mistake / mix up with another property as we do not charge any extras for air con or any other part of the house. The charged paid when you book online is the full cost paid. There are no hidden extras. Hope this explains and would ask that review is updated to reflect our property that was stayed in. Gracias

Quiet short location

For me, I was visiting an old friend living in La Marina Urbanisation. It was easy for me to use this accommodation primarily for staying overnight. It was clean and with necessary creature comforts. The quiet road outside was good for parking my car. Communication with the owner by WhatsApp made life easy if anything was required

One bed self contained.

The bedroom was very tight to access and the sofa which doubled as a 3rd bed was rather uncomfortable. But the villa was clean and tidy and we have no complaints.

Not a bad little villa

Overall well worth the price paid, but when we have stayed at other villas in the past the keyholder always made contact on the first day or so to see if everything was ok but not here but we did have 2 contact numbers in case of any problems but we had no issues at all and would stay here again.

We did not stay in this apartment because of some issues with the house. The owner offered us a bigger house. The neighbors were a little noisy in the tiny street we were staying. The apartment was big enough for us but with more people it could be crowded. Everything you need is in the house like towels, shower gel, hairdryer, microwave, oven, induction plate etc etc. We had a nice stay.

Thank you for your review and sorry for the issue in having to upgrade your stay as this property had some issues with leak in boiler. We had to upgrade guest to a 4 bedroom house closer to amenities without any extra nightly fees. We hope you enjoyed your stay.

We booked this on the basis of the pictures knowing that the accommodation was small. The pictures did not give the truth. To enter the bedroom we had to negotiate a 8 inch gap between the edge of door and the end of the bed. If there had been an incident where an emergency was required especially at night in the dark , evacuation in a hurry would be impossible . This is a major health and safety issue. When we arrived we were disappointed with the cooking facilities and the fact that the splash back, kettle, toaster and the hot plate were covered in grease where a previous occupier had done a fry up and not cleaned properly. When we changed the bed linen it was noticeable that the mattresses were heavily stained with what appeared to be dried damp, pee and blood. Instructions for occupiers were taped to the back of the entrance door ie do not feed the cats. The neighbours fed them and didn't clear the mess they made. I was often washing down the front where they regularly peed. A book of information a instructions would have been useful especially regarding the washing machine, television and aircon instead of tatty pages stuck to the top of the door. The outlook was no better and a 2 foot drop of the sitting area to the patio without any protection was dangerous. Overall i am surprised how this accommodation got a tourist licence and that VRBO have represented it. I have attached relevant photos.

Hola Anthony We are sorry to receive your review and quite shocked to be honest. When you originally booked in Feb 2025, you messaged numerous times as you said you never stayed or booked a place before, We responded in a timely manner and tried to help you out and put you at ease until your arrival date. The house is a small house, legally built in Spain, they are called a “Julia” small one bed house.The images listed on here are exactly of the house, nothing has been added or exaggerated. On arrival you did contact us regarding how to work the washing machine and it was explained to you, none of the “problems” listed here were mentioned or asked of us to rectify which we would of done had these been mentioned to us in your 3 week stay. Unfortunately neighbours feeding cats is out of our control, we cannot make them do otherwise. Also the image of a house that is derelict, again we have no control over this. Im sure you seen many houses along the street that were lovely done and kept neat and clean. When you were in touch with us via the app or phone, had you of mentioned these issues we would have tried to resolve any that we could ourselves had we been given the chance. Our property has been for let for many years without issues and VRBO can also see this record and never had a complaint like this. Hope this explains. Gracias

…es war ein entspannter Kurzurlaub! Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben,super,schnelle Kommunikation,saubere Wohnung in einer ruhigen Gegend ( nette Nachbarn ob spanisch,deutsch…),in der Nähe von Bars,Supermarkt,…alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich würde diese Wohnung für den nächsten Urlaub in La Marina oder Umgebung wieder buchen
