It’s out dated. They had one really old frying pan for cooking that’s it, no coffee filters, missing basic simple things that make a stay easier. roach showed up on day one and thankfully no one saw it but me. The view is great, the pool is great, the staff is friendly.

The room is large and clean. No issue there. The code to get in the room at check in was delayed almost an hour, the dryer "ate up" anything with strings like bathing suits. Other than that we had a great stay.

Beach trip

This property is part of a resort and an excellent location. Our group enjoyed the pool areas and the close proximity to the beach. Definitely a good place to stay if you have kids.

Extremely disappointing stayUnfortunately, our stay was far from what we expected. During our stay, we found evidence of bed bugs in the condo and also discovered roaches. We immediately reported our concerns and provided documentation to both the property/management and Vrbo.Maintenance inspected the condo and found two live bed bugs during their inspection, confirming that our concerns were legitimate. This was extremely unsettling, especially while traveling with our family and it being our anniversary. We initially hoped the situation could be resolved while allowing us to continue our vacation, but the experience made us uncomfortable and significantly disrupted our stay. The resort then advised us to vacate the property with no further accommodations. Big Fish ultimately provided us with a full refund, which I appreciate, but a refund does not change the fact that we had to deal with this during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.I believe future guests deserve to know about our experience. Based on what occurred, we would not stay at this property again. The BEST part is the pools which accommodates the kids with plenty for them to do.

They were super accommodating on such short notice. I was worried about booking last minute but it was perfect for our needs. We had a great time! We definitely plan on returning. Also thought it was a nice touch checking to see if we checked in ok and if we had everything we needed. Even checked in to see if we made it home safely.

Room was nice, but there was way too much ‘verification’ things to do and way too many emails and text messages. Not sure why the hoops to go through when booking and before checking in. I have never had to go through something like this before and not sure why sending a picture of my Id, credit card, and my face was necessary instead of an in person check in at the office down the road.

Good property. In a resort, so don't expect much peace and quiet. But right on the beach. Nice amenities. The people running the booking will way over communicate. I received 5 emails and 3 texts just about checking in. There are lots of potential charges, like if you change settings on the TV, change the thermostat, use the towels in the wrong place, etc. The fees start to sound like threats. They try to upsell you with late check out for a fee etc. Then it takes forever for them to release the deposit. Maybe all this is normal now, but seemed excessive to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the location and amenities, and I’m sorry the pre-arrival messages and fee communications felt excessive. Thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to share these suggestions. Julie, BigFish Rentals

ROACHES EVERYWHERE !!

Don't get fooled by the pictures. This place is not nearly as it is described in the VRBO listing. I will list a few items that left an overall bad vacation experience.. 1. Property was infested with cockroaches that we had to deal with. They would crawl into the kitchen, bath, closets everywhere. We had to go get a roach spray to try and kill them. This is NOT acceptable. 2. Pullout beds in the living room were not clean. We had to clean them ourselves when we got there. 3. Broken burners on the stove that could not be used. We notified the front desk for repair but the maintenance crew never showed up. 4. Bathroom flush was not working. It was partially remediated after we complained. Again this is not acceptable for a professional property. 5. Closets were not cleaned. Food crumbs were there. 6. One of the bathroom tubs was clogged and drained water very slowly. On top of that, the property manager was completely non responsive to our complaints and charged us for not leaving the utensils clean, which were not clean to begin with, when we moved in. What a shame !!

Location was wonderful. Rooms were large enough. Cleanliness was good only dishwasher had a horrible smell but we ran a load and better (maybe from being closed up). Hostess was quick to reply. I misunderstood check in process but did it right away with the pic id, pic with cc. We did not need to stop at front desk for parking passes, they were in the room. Overall, a very nice stay.
