Welcome to LaSalle Cabin, a charming waterfront retreat at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort in Cedarville, Michigan. One of eleven cabins at the resort, this spacious three-bedroom log cabin offers modern updates while maintaining its rustic charm, making it an ideal getaway for families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Comfortable & Updated Accommodations
Remodeled in 2024, LaSalle Cabin features new vinyl flooring, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and furnishings, creating a comfortable and inviting space. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area provides plenty of room to gather and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy, and a picnic table and charcoal grill allow for outdoor dining with scenic views.
This three-bedroom cabin is designed to accommodate a variety of sleeping arrangements:
• Bedroom 1 – Queen bed
• Bedroom 2 – Full-size bed
• Bedroom 3 – Bunk bed with a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin-size bed on top

Just steps from the cabin, Les Cheneaux Landing offers an array of outdoor activities for guests of all ages.

Bring your own boat or rent one of our outboard fishing boats to explore the sheltered waterways of the Les Cheneaux Islands. If you prefer to stay close, cast a line off the dock and fish for a variety of panfish while enjoying the peaceful beauty of the channel.

Les Cheneaux Landing is centrally located between the Straits of Mackinac and Sault Ste. Marie, just 35 miles northeast of the Mackinac Bridge. This makes it a great home base for day trips to Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks, and other top attractions in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula.

• Three Bedrooms: Sleeps 6. One bedroom with a queen-size bed, a second bedroom with a full-size bed and a third bedroom with a set of bunk beds (full on the bottom, twin on the top). Bed linens and pillows are furnished. We ask our renters to provide their own bath and kitchen linens.
• Open Concept Kitchen, Dining & Living Room: Whip up delicious meals with ease in the fully equipped kitchen while enjoying the rustic charm of the cabin.
• One Bathroom: The roomy bathroom has a fiberglass stall shower, toilet & sink.
• Covered Front Porch: A porch that offers privacy and one of the best views on the property. A table & chairs are provided for enjoying outdoor meals, your morning coffee, evening cocktails, or playing your favorite game of cards.
• Picnic Table and Charcoal Grill: A family size picnic table and kettle style grill are provided.
• Sandy Swimming Beach: Just steps away from the cabin, the sandy beach and beach dock offer the ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming, or building sandcastles with the family. Kids and adults enjoy playing on the floating water mat provided in the swimming area.
• Community Firepit: Nestled on the beach, the community campfire area provides the perfect atmosphere where guests can unwind, share stories, and enjoy the warmth of the fire under the stars.
• Spacious Yard, Sand Beach Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Horseshoes, Swing Set: All cabin renters at LCL have access to 250 feet of waterfront, beach, docks, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, swing set, and a spacious, well-maintained lawn area suitable for croquet, bocce ball, cornhole, or most any other yard game.
• Docks & Boat Slip Rentals: LCL’s location on the Snows Channel is the ideal spot for boating & fishing enthusiasts. The updated docks (built in 2020 & 2024) can accommodate most any size boat as well as provide the perfect spot for catching some rays, relaxing & enjoying the view, or fishing for a variety of pan fish, including perch, pike & bass.
• Fishing Boat Rentals/Kayaks: Outboard fishing boats are available to rent and LCL offers two complimentary, one-person kayaks for guests to use on a first come, first served basis.
• Dog Friendly: Your dog is welcome to accompany you on your vacation adventures. The charge for a dog is $20 per night/$100 per week with a limit of 2 dogs per cabin. You will be asked to sign a dog agreement & waiver form. Upon request, this form can be sent prior to your stay, for your review.
• Internet Access: WiFi is available in all cabins, though service may occasionally be inconsistent.
• On-Site Property Managers: Mark and Esther Engle reside on the premises and are available to provide assistance at most times during the day and night.
