This house had all of the "extras" and was very accommodating. Beautiful views and comfortable living areas. Thank you for a wonderful trip to the mountains.
This cabin has very large rooms including a spacious living room and an impressive TV/game room. Loved working at the desk and staring at the mountains all day. Blankets were plentiful for dealing with the chilly winds. Everything was top-notch!
This home exceeded our expectations! It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Not to mention, THE INCREDIBLE VIEW! We loved that it was secluded up the mountain but still less than 10 minutes to restaurants and shops. Cannot say enough good things about this property! Great for a family mountain getaway!
Wrong code provided for home access via messaging. Owner did not answer call. Found different code in first email received once booking was confirmed. Otherwise, the home is gorgeous and just as described with breathtaking views!
This was a beautiful house. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was the hot tub not getting to temperature, but they had someone there that afternoon to fix it. It was a wonderful location with a great view. Responsiveness from the host was excellent.
This home is stunning and the views were breathtaking! This home gave my daughter and I a mental health break we were both needing. Will definitely consider again when we visit the Smokies.
The cabin was very clean and nice. It was the perfect size to fit 8 of us. The ping pong table was a great added touch. The kids loved playing. We really enjoyed our time there. The drive up to the cabin is a little unnerving, so try to arrive before dark. There was plenty of kitchen ware for all our cooking needs. Overall a nice property.
We had a wonderful stay with family and the weather was great for early January. The house was cozy and the views were spectacular. We are looking forward to renting the house in the future. Thanks to Heather for her generosity and prompt communication.
My husband and I loved this property! We both said that we wouldn't change a thing. The decor and details were way beyond our expectations and truly helped us to rest and relax. Our only regret was that we had obligations at home that kept us from staying longer. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We plan to book again!
The perfect week-long getaway for the wife and I. The view is perfect and reason enough to book here. Comfortable beds, plenty of seating (in and outside), and a well equipped kitchen. The pictures are true to what to expect. The hot tub was well used during the trip, after a day of hiking and sight seeing or just because a hot tub makes everything better!!!The drive up is steep with some tight turns, but easy. You should be good with any car or truck. Paved all the way to the private road of the cabin, then well packed and maintained rock. Despite being in a truck, I wouldn't hesitate to drive my Challenger down it. Soco Falls, The Museum of the Cherokee People, and Great Smoky Mountain Railroad were all worth the time. The peace and quiet and seclusion were the best part. Sounds of birds all day long. And keep an eye out for other "local residents"...we were lucky to be visited by a black bear one day! He was just passing through, but was gone as soon as he spotted us. In town, Joey's Pancakes is a must for breakfast at least once and Pop's Butt on the Creek for some BBQ. Don't hesitate to rent this cabin...I won't if I ever find my self in Maggie Valley!

Thanks for the wonderful review. We hope to see you again in the future.
Property did not disappoint. Pictures on listing are not misleading. Secluded location, awesome views and sunrises. Beautiful, high end kitchen. Quality furnishings, quality log cabin. Plenty of room for a large family. Did not use hot tub so can't judge.Communication was great. Only thing I would recommend if one does rent there, try to get into house during daylight. It is up a mountain via a winding road that will be easier the first time during the day .... but drive is totally worth it.
Beautiful home with amazing mountain views. Perfect modern kitchen and immaculate on cleanliness. If you are looking to connect with nature without any distractions, this is the ultimate peaceful abode. The huge back deck overlooks, gorgeous mountains and valleys. Huge hot tub outside is an amazing added benefit. Screened in areas for those sensitive to bugs even though we did not see a bug our entire stay. Highly recommended! I can’t wait to come back soon.
Amazing views! The property was immaculate and very well appointed. Exceeded our expectations, the pictures do not do it justice! The house was much larger that I expected and very comfortable. Plenty of out door seating, we enjoyed the fire pit and the new BBQ grill. Really appreciated having garage access and a bonus fridge in the garage to store extra drinks. The location just can't be beat, close to the center of Maggie Valley but high up above everything, at times we were even above the clouds! but not so far away that we couldn't get pizza delivered. The hosts replied to our questions very quickly. This is was the perfect mountain top get away.
This log cabin getaway is perfect for any group of friends or family’s to visit. A magnificent mountain home! It is very very clean and has spectacular high mountain 180 views of the valley and surrounding mountains. This property is expertly hosted with everything we needed during our stay including a fully and well stocked kitchen, an open floor plan with large dining room and den/living area. This den area includes a large TV monitor over the remote operated fireplace. We looked forward to our planned movie nights! I should also mention the comfortable beds, game room, outdoor grill area and hot tub. All were added extras! We are already planning another trip to this same location! We highly recommend this property!!
Amazing house with awesome views! The house was first class all the way, comfortable beds, very clean, stocked with everything you need. The room above the garage with the ping pong table, sectional and huge tv was perfect for our group of guys. Every bedroom had its own bathroom but the covered decks with the views really made this a great trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin.
