AVOID THIS HOST!
I recently completed a 10-day stay with this host in Tulum. Do not stay here.
We had no hot water. We were provided 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for a 2-bedroom 2 bath unit. No kitchen towels. 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 10-day stay. No cleaning supplies. 1 trash bag.
Anyone renting this unit should be advised that it is BARE BONES.
The unit was NOT clean. There was a huge pile of red beard hair on one of the balconies. There was a barking dog in the unit next door that kept us awake at night.
I have never had such poor communication with a host. I messaged them on the VRBO app on March 12, again on March 12, March 14, March 17, and March 18. I emailed the host at the address they gave to me 4 times: March 9, March 10, and twice on March 11. (We exchanged emails prior to check-in, so I know the email address is correct). I has ZERO response from the host.
The issues we had were bad, but zero response from the host is unacceptable!
