About this property
Ski-in condo
Welcome to Cedar Creek at Big Sky, your gateway to adventure!
Big Sky Resort is right out the door and Moonlight Basin is 2 miles away. Take the free Big Sky bus, resort parking lot shuttle, walk 5 minutes to the Big Sky Base area, or cross the street and take the trail to the White Otter ski lift. Ski back to the condo at the end of the day.
There are 10 bars and restaurants within walking distance. The Mountain Village also has galleries, boutiques, and a convenience store. Big Sky Basecamp features a tandem zip line, a zip line canyon course, a high ropes course, and an aerial bungee trampoline.
Montana seems a little further away from it all, but is easier than ever to get to with 13 direct flights to Bozeman. Big Sky is your gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Experience true Montana hospitality, a slower pace of life, the rustic West, and jaw-dropping views. NO CROWDS and NO LIFTLINES, and the "Biggest skiing in America" (based on total miles of ski trails).
Yellowstone National Park, less than an hour away, is a great place to see buffalo, elk, moose, bald eagles, wolves and maybe even a grizzly, as wells as the hot springs and geysers. Explore Yellowstone's wildlife and ecosystem on a backcountry snow-coach tour.
Lone Mountain Ranch features 100km of cross-country ski trails groomed for classic cross-country or adrenaline-pumping skate skiing. LMR also has snowshoe trails, horse-drawn sled rides to backcountry cabins for western-style dinners, or back at the lodge, an intimate dining experience.
Rent snowmobiles in both Big Sky and West Yellowstone, MT, which features guided snowmobile tours inside the park and easy access to a 400-mile network of groomed snowmobile trails in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming that span the Continental Divide.
The condo features a view of Mt. Wilson in the Spanish Peaks range.
Accommodations include a full bunk bed with twin on top, two twins, and a pull-out sleeper sofa.
Walk to the slopes, restaurants, bars, and shops!
There are ten restaurants and bars as well as ski shops, rentals, shopping, spas, massage, and medical services in the Mt. Village. Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Lee
After escaping Washington DC twelve years ago, I spent two winters skiing all over the world. Having skied 50+ resorts, Big Sky was my hands down favorite. My first winter here as a ski instructor. Having decided to stay full-time, I started a construction consulting business and a landscaping company. And I still am a part-time ski instructor.
Why they chose this property
Washington DC is known for some of the worst traffic in the country. My commute could be 1-2 hours, sometimes more. When I moved to Big Sky, I wanted to be able to walk to the base area in minutes. I wanted to be 2 minutes from the closest ski lift and I wanted to be able to ski home. My neighbors are ski-in/ski-out, so I would ski down their trail, cross the street, and walk in the door.
What makes this property unique
Right out the living room window is a fantastic view of the Mt. Wilson and the Spanish Peaks range. At sunset, after the Mt Village is in the shadow of Lone Peak, the alpen-glow illuminates the Spanish Peaks.
