Each of the Colony Suites has dedicated parking for your use while you stay. While on the property, feel free to explore Palmer by foot as well!

If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. Please call repeatedly if emergency needs arise in the middle of night.



Please note that this entire suite is located on the second story of this property accessed via a flight of stairs outside.

Nice spot in Palmer

We stayed here for 5 days while we were in Palmer. The place is very nice and new. We have stayed in several different places for our Alaska trips (we travel there annually). We will definitely look to book this place again.

Suite 1 was perfect for our family (5 adults). The unit and kitchen were fully stocked, over the top clean and beautifully furnished. Easy walk to downtown Palmer offering plenty of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We had a wonderful time.

The unit was spacious and tastefully decorated. It extremely clean and the view was amazing. We were here for two nights on March. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great Location to Downtown Palmer & AK State Fair

We appreciated the convenient location to the AK State Fairgrounds and downtown Palmer for evening dinners and morning coffees. Unit was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and packed with all the modern amenities one would need. We loved the modern minimalistic interior that was tastefully decorated. If you are not into the Alaska fish, bear and moose themed accommodations—then this is the place for you!

We stayed 1 night. Took in the sights of downtown Palmers Friday. Easy walking distance. Beds were very comfortable. Showers were hot, bathtub in the master bedroom was super cool. Very comfortable for our family. Highly recommend this place

Not a home, more of an unmanned motel

Colony inn and suites Beautiful construction, lots of curbside appeal, very clean and photogenic inside and out , BUT…I despise extra steps. That is why I typically like VRBO. I did not like arriving at the end of a long drive to find out that there was extra extemporaneous steps required to get to bed. I like VRBO because they are typically homes. This is not a home, it is a motel with a kitschy interior decor. It is nice looking and very clean. But I despise the idea of having to fill out all my information in addition to what I already did on the VRBO booking app and then have to sign up for their online funding app in order to pay an additional deposit, all before being given a door code to just get in and sleep. I hate that VRBO is getting inundated by hotels and motels that can’t compete so they just post their lodgings on the app and then hijacking what was a simple check in process, and force people to go to their otherwise obscure and clunky personal websites.Also the tv in the main room is useless without signing up for an another account (Samsung account) just to download streaming apps and then signing in on your personal account. Although the bedroom tvs seem to work fine.I will not be using this host again.
