Clean, functional, High value !

This is a wonderful and functional house and a high value alternative to a hotel when staying in Idaho Falls. I highly recommend it in that capacity!

Wonderful and Kind Hosts

The check in process was super easy. The house is located close to everything including hospitals which my son would need at the end of our trip. The house is a nice size and very homey.Steven was available to answer questions and when I needed to extend my stay he was super understanding and allowed me to stay. As well as checked in on how my son was doing while he was in the hospital. I can't say enough good things of the entire trip but especially the owners hospitality.

Mostly good

When we arrived at our place, the check in worked perfectly, and we were impressed by how nice everything looked inside. The kitchen was stocked well, and the rooms were as described and suited us well. The beds were very comforable. Unfortunately, the heat of July was unbearable. The home had an ac unit in the front window which served very well in that area, but that 2 rooms in the back of the house were like saunas. Though there were fans thoughtfully provided, most of us ended up sleeping in the front room, which was a little awkward as they had only sheer window coverings which afforded no nighttime privacy. On the whole, though, it was a fun place to stay, and we were thankful to have it. When we had a problem with the lock on one of the days, Steve was quick to respond and fix the problem immediately. I especially liked that the place was quite close to shopping and eating, which was so convenient for us.

Thank you for your review! I totally understand your frustration with the heat and I apologize it was so hot during your stay. I plan to add central A/C soon, but the companies I have spoken with have been booked up and unable to provide a bid until things slow down. I am glad the window A/C provided some relief! Please look us up next time you are in the area, and hopefully we can accomodate you more comfortably. Thanks!

We are a family of 7! We love to work and we love to play! During the summer months, we spend our time working on our small hay farm and riding dirtbikes with the kids. In the winter months, we love the cross country skiing idaho has to offer! Remodeling this home has been a load of fun as we've worked together as a family to bring the project together. We hope you enjoy our labor of love!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is a bit older and very quiet. The majority of traffic makes a U-turn when they realize they turned in on the wrong road. It is quiet, yet central to many activities that Idaho Falls and Southeast Idaho have to offer.
