2 block walk only to a private beach Surf Shack is a perfect location. Open floor plan is ideal for entertaining and all rooms on same floor. W/ the lights on the Front deck listening to the waves at night is tranquil. vacant lots on 3 sides offer peace from neighbors. Cornhole, washer boards and horseshoes offer fun for everyone while at the house. Also 2 blocks to an amazing pizza place, large convenient store and liquor store makes for a great location.

Host was very responsive. Older property. Small refrigerator so bring a cooler for your beer and bottled water. Also... might want to bring your own coffee pot...or do what we did and get individual k cups for coffee. Overall, a comfortable place with a great host.

Quaint Place Very Near Beach

We had a great stay in Galveston! The house was clean upon arrival and was super comfortable for our party of 7. The house had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The beds were cozy, we had plenty of hot water, and the a/c worked great! Proximity to the beach was excellent as well!

The property is in an absolute perfect location if you want to enjoy a private beach away from the crowds. It was very clean and exactly what was presented online. I plan on renting it again in the future.

The house was well kept and clean, there were a variety of appliances in the kitchen available to use, all in working order and well maintained. Sean was quick to respond to questions and gave clear answers. Overall we had a great time!

The property was clean and ready for us. The proprietor was quick to respond to my questions. Property had a nice fenced in area that was common to the deck so we could let the dog out without worrying about him getting free. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach!

Great Family Trip

My family and furry friends enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Host was very responsive. We had everything we needed to cook and clean, sleep, shower. There is also a doggie door. Close to moody gardens, the pier and the local movie theater.

Peaceful and a breeze

Checking in was a breeze. The beach was wonderful, within walking distance. There weren’t many people around and we felt like we had the beach to ourself. The house was great. Plenty of porch space. Amazing place it was an exactly what we wanted and more! Our family and friends loved it! Rooms were clean and comfortable and ready to sleep in. Place was great all around. When we had issues even though it was late at night the Host responded immediately to help. If I can give this 10 stars I would! Would definitely recommend and come back for another stay!

Family Galveston trip June 2023

Such a cute little property in the west side of galv. Home owner was super responsive and nice to talk to. He had games and beach toys located in the closet in the first floor my two kids really enjoyed. 10/10 I’m definitely gonna stay again and refer some friends bc how much we enjoyed our stay.
