About this property

Creekside Home w/ Tahoe Cabin Charm – Updated, Dog Friendly – Incline Village

Welcome to our creekside home — a place that's been in our family for four generations, with all the cozy, old-Tahoe cabin charm you'd hope for. Freshly updated in 2024, but we kept the character intact. Think crackling fireplaces, a big fenced yard for your pup to run around in, and a crystal-clear mountain stream right outside your door.

The half-acre lot is private and level, tucked on a quiet street with barely any traffic. There's a huge deck out back for morning coffee, evening drinks, or just watching the creek go by. Past guests keep telling us how well the place works for them and their pets — plenty of yard, plenty of space, and a layout that's easy to settle into.

Inside, you've got two separate living spaces, each with its own fireplace and smart TV, so nobody has to fight over the remote. Growing up, this was where the grown-ups would disappear into the sunken family room after a big ski day while the kids ran the rest of the house. Funny how that's flipped over the years — but either way, there's room for everyone to spread out.

Getting around: Raley's (groceries, dining, shops) and the local ski shop are just a few blocks away. Diamond Peak is minutes up the hill, Mt. Rose not much further, and you've got Squaw, Heavenly, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Sugar Bowl all within 20–45 minutes. Golf, the Hyatt, and the casino are all under 5 minutes out.

Incline Village has all the good stuff — great food, shopping, movies, and things to do no matter the season. Come see why our guests keep coming back.

A few practical notes:

Heads up — guest access to the Incline Village recreation center (pools, fitness, classes) and IV beaches isn't included anymore, but nearby Tahoe public beaches are open to everyone.
Bringing your dog? The pet fee's already baked into your quote when you select "Yes" for pets. More than one pup? Just message us — it's a flat $50 for an additional pet.
A nightly damage waiver is included in your reservation (covers up to $3,000, plus tax where it applies) — no security deposit needed.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

My brother, sister, and I own this home together. The three of us were born and raised in Tiburon/Belvedere, California, and spent countless summers and winter weekends here growing up.

The story behind the house is one of our favorites. Our first family cabin burned down in the Mt. Rose fire back in the 1960s, and our dad wanted to give our mom a place of her own to start over — somewhere with a creek, specifically. Mom had grown up playing along her grandmother's creek and always loved the sound of running water. So Dad found her this spot, where she could sit with a book, listen to the stream, and watch us kids play in the yard.

Decades later, that's still exactly what this place is for.

Why they chose this property

This home has always been about family — good separation of space so adults get their quiet time and kids get to be kids, but everyone still ends up together by the fire at the end of the day. Three generations of our family have made memories here, and honestly, that's still what it's for.

Tahoe has a way of getting under your skin. We love sharing this place with other families so they can build their own version of what it's given us — whether that's a big ski day, a lazy afternoon by the creek, or just some real time together away from everything else.

What makes this property unique

What really sets this place apart is the setting — a private, creekside half-acre with open space behind you and the creek as your backdrop, rather than another backyard. There's something special about falling asleep and waking up to the sound of running water — it adds this quiet, peaceful ambiance you don't get in a typical neighborhood setting. Just you, the creek, and the trees.
