Unique restored building, comfortable well equipped apartment

We attended a family reunion in Kent OH. The apt in Ravenna was convenient and spacious. It made a perfect home base.

Great location

Really nice apartment, super soft sheets, nice decor. No elevator, very old building with some renovations going on. Good selection of coffee and snacks, but snacks were expired and stale. Plus there was used drinks left in refrigerator. Overall, we had a really nice stay and would stay again.

As documented, we responded to all messages from you as well as VRBO. You can see from all other reviews that the keypad works just fine (which is tested before and after each guest for obvious reasons) and every other guest has had a very easy arrival. You sent 1 message at 12:35AM with one word after being at the Football HOF Game. It's unfortunate that user error after an evening of festivities led you to place public blame on us as the host. We certainly don't understand the mention of cleanliness when you couldn't even let yourselves inside? VRBO has agreed with our stance and therefore we can only describe the review you left us as an angry retaliation to your own negligence.

Quaint downtown historic apartment

My adult son and I stayed at this apartment while visiting my daughter at Kent State. The description was spot on, the property manager set my expectations correctly. Definitely keep in mind you have 4 flights of stairs to climb, no elevators. The location and size were perfect for our party size. The apartment is very well appointed, we enjoy having a place to make our own meals and not have to eat out so much. One small set back- the water did not remotely get warm after the first night- my second day shower was a very chilly one and I ended up heating some water to properly clean the dishes. The building is historic, so I feel this could have possibly been a fluke. Overall, we loved our stay. Clean, cute, well appointed, safe and my son was very enraptured by the building and it’s history.
