We absolutely loved the home, as well as the secluded nature of the property. It was perfect for anyone seeking a quiet, country retreat and I would highly recommend the site to all.
This property is just as listed! It’s a nice peaceful getaway. The views are nice! The pond has a lot of fish. The hot tub is amazing! It sleeps a lot of people, but would be nice couples get away also. We had a few issues the first night, but owners responded and took care of them promptly.
The cabin and view are breathtaking. Check in was easy. Few problems with water- showers have poor water pressure, completely shuts off while showering more than 10 minutes, but if you’ll wait about 3 minutes- it will come back on for another 10 minutes. Sink faucet in kitchen. However, the experience overall was nice!
We came to Tennessee firm north & SC to attend my husbands sisters memorial service. With a group of 9 we decided to rent a house! It was great! We all had beds, the hot tub & fire out were awesome! We enjoyed riding the side y side and the property was beautiful! Very secluded! Thank you for your hospitality. We recommend this home!
It was my second time staying here. It’s a great property. Location for us is perfect and secluded. I will say this time I noticed the house was not as clean. I get you are in the woods but we found mouse droppings in pots and pans. The house seems super cluttered with expired food in the fridge and clothing in the dressers. The owners are very accommodating and helpful.
The cabin was spacious and comfortable and the valley was secluded and private. Absolutely beautiful property, perfect for a getaway with good friends!
The cabin and property were absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Walked the property in the morning after coffee on the enclosed porch and enjoyed grilling and hanging on the deck in the afternoon. The tub was perfect and the dark skies were mesmerizing!
We really enjoyed the quiet location. Cell service was not good but they had updated WIFI so everything was great. The wild life in the morning and hot tub in the evening. Every thing we needed for a long, relaxing, weekend.
If you are looking for a remote get away this place checks the box! Beautiful area but not close to anything touristy if you are wanting to visit places. We went for a weekend away so it was perfect. Lots of beds so good for families and groups. Very good communication with owners. Would stay here again. If looking for something to do in the area, Gobler Springs distillery was a neat place to see and tour.
This property is more beautiful in person! The host was great with communication and so nice to work with! This will be a yearly vacation for us! Thank you Evelyn!!

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Overall it was good. Website needs to be updated. We had 4 seniors 71-84. It was never mentioned that it was 2 levels. One of us has had a knee replacement, and myself just had a macular hole repair and I can’t do steps well. The impression the pictures and info list it is on one level. The water to the shower and bathroom sink struggled to pump sufficiently. We ended up sleeping on the twin beds because the full bed bedroom only had one plug and it was an extension cord. My husband and I both sleep with a C-pap unfortunately and nowhere to put them other than the floor. Loved the rustic charm just needs a few additional accommodations. Thank you for your hospitality Debbie Blackwood
Property off the beaten path down a long dirt road. Offers a lot of privacy. We were in Wayne Co. for work so we didn't get to use the property and pond during the day. Given the lack of hotels, this property suited us perfectly. If anyone plans to use the upstairs, use caution on the stairs. Use GPS to the road without the number as it will take you somewhere else. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in the area.
This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay! We had a family reunion, everyone enjoyed fishing in the pond as well as the huge yard for the kids to play! The enclosed front porch was beautiful, it was nice to be able to sit and relax enjoying the view in a cool room since it was so hot outside! Spacious, secluded, clean. The cabin was perfect.

It's close to hitting the highway but makes you feel like you are far from everything. Great place to explore or just relax.
