Walk to the water! Swim, fish or put your kayaks in just steps from the back deck of this 3 bed, 2 bath house. Fun-filled getaway for couples, gal pals, guys weekend or the whole family. Launch your boat from the boat ramp, less than three miles away. Great fishing on the lake or nearby Little Red River. Play a round at nearby Tannenbaum Golf Course. Relax in the hammock. Play a game of poker, chess, or Pac Man. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets by the Solo stove fire pit.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please return the thermostat to a vacancy setting - closer to the outside temperature: In the summer, please set the thermostat to 75, before leaving. In the winter, please set the thermostat to 55.
If you used the grill, make sure the valve from the propane tank to the grill is all the way closed.
Please take trash to the can closest to the house. Then, please take the can closest to the house, out to the road for Monday morning pickup. Please return the empty can from the road to the house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Lakeside venue was peaceful and relaxing. Accommodations were great. Kids loved swimming in the lake. Overall, this was a great getaway, and we may come back again soon.

Charming Lakeside Cottage

Excellent accommodations at Greer’s Ferry Lake! We had a great stay in this well appointed cottage and enjoyed the beautiful setting only a few steps from the lake. The house was very cozy and comfortable and the deck was perfect for relaxing. We appreciated all the amenities provided! The owner’s artwork and tasteful decor were very beautiful and perfect for the lake setting!!

This house on the lake is designed to let you relax and have fun with your fellow guests. I found this lake house after weeks of searching the area for the right combination of modest size, room to spread out and a view of the lake. Whether you bring your close friends, or your immediate family. You should be able to have fun and let your worries go away for a while.

What makes this property unique

Walk down to the water and swim in the lake. Put a boat in, in less than five minutes. Fish the lake from behind the house. Get in some spectacular trout fishing at The Little Red River in about 15 minutes. Play some golf. You are 5 minutes from The Tannenbaum Golf Course. Read a book in the hammock. Play some poker, some chess, checkers or a few games of Pac Man. Cook a steak on the grill, or a few hot dogs on the fire pit. Watch a movie on the big screen TV at the end of a day on the water. But, don't miss the sunset on the lake from the back deck. It is is sublime!
