4 bed, 2 bath luxury vacation home for up to 8 guests

This spacious 2300 square foot, 4-bedroom home sleeps 8 and is centrally located in historic Old Bisbee. Please note this home is NOT recommended for anyone having trouble climbing stairs! Also note that it is a narrow mountain road to get here. Several popular restaurants are an easy 7- minute walk. Don't believe Google map walking time, downtown is 15 minutes. The entire house has heat/AC mini-split units so each room can be set with the temperature you want. There are many garden areas with multiple patios, from which to enjoy outstanding mountain views and stars. Each of the 3 Queen bedrooms have access to the outside patios through French doors and share a full bath. Upstairs is a King bed suite with a loft sitting area, bath and access to a balcony. Customers often remark on how comfortable the beds are. Cook together in the large, well-equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated, having an Asian theme of wood and earth tones, featuring many items from Japan and local artists. Be amazed by one of a kind wrought iron sculptures all over the property, featuring multiple Dragons. Travel light, I stock everything you'll need except your clothes, including basic pantry and bath items. Private parking for 3 cars is ABOVE the house. From the parking lot, you must walk down stone steps to get to the house. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee. TPT/PERMIT #02028991.

Excellent find for our quick 2 night stay for 4. The house, views and property are wonderful. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are large enough for guests to share and equipped with everything you need. The maybe 15 minute walk into town form the house is not bad at all and very enjoyable. One of our guests is in their 70s and had no problem with the stairs and walk. This is a gem in Bisbee for guests to stay at.

This was a terrific property, and we really enjoyed our stay!The house is huge with four bedrooms on two levels. Everything is immaculate, and no supplies are missing. Maybe best of all, the outdoor area is beautiful and very well-maintained. The views of Bisbee and the surrounding mountains are excellent, especially at night.Yes, the stone stairs can be a little difficult, and it can be a bit tough to find the first time you try to get there. However, the overall experience is terrific, and I would highly recommend it.

I agree with you that getting around in Old Bisbee can be a challenge, and for anyone thinking of booking the Dragonview, I just want to this opportunity to ask that they make a point of reading the directions I send them, and not just rely on GPS. Also, don't believe the walking distance on Google maps as they don't account for the shortcut downtown by walking on Bisbee's public staircases. Yup it's an unusual town! Anyway, would love to host you again as you were great guests!

Very well equipped kitchen and other aspects. The house and grounds are luxurious and everything worked well. This location is not for anyone with any walking issues however, as access to Bisbee requires lots of steps and walking hilly streets.

Out of all of the various VRBO's we have stayed in (which is many), this is one of our favorites-definitely in the top three! The home is large and comfortable- all rooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is perhaps the best supplied we have seen. Every spice, appliance, pot/pan, dish, utensil... you could need. The property is absolutely wonderful. A patio for everyone with beautiful landscaping. We sat out on the patio(s) in the morning watching the birds, and again in the evening to see the vultures soaring. At night, as James Taylor says, the stars put on a show for free.The hosts are kind, prompt and thoughtful. Always responsive. This is our 2nd time at the property, and we are already planning our 3rd trip for next year.Look no further if you and your group are planning a trip to Bisbee/southeastern Arizona.

Annual Friends trip at Dragonview

Fantastic property

Our first trip to Bisbee and our stay was great. The Dragonview property is very well taken care of and has everything you need for a memorable stay in Bisbee! We enjoyed sitting outside each evening on the patio. A great way to relax after a day of exploring the area!

After 30+ years of renovations and reliance on many Bisbee artisans, the Dragonview is now ready for you to enjoy too. I hope you appreciate this unique town and renew your spirit in these magical mountains. Murray and I live in the cottage, located at the far end of the property, so we are available to assist you if needed. I retired after 25 years as a Community Development Program Manager for a 4 County area. I grew up in Canada, and moved to Bisbee in 1979. Later, I lived in Japan for 4 years, and was born in the year of the Dragon, hence my fascination with the creatures. The Dragon has many different meanings, but I like to think it will bring good luck to you! Be sure to take a picture with the life size Dragon Gate. I look forward to meeting you! Why they chose this property

While still living in Canada, one day I looked at a map of Arizona, saw the name 'Bisbee' and suddenly 'knew' I was going to live there someday. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it, as many other residents and visitors have. The weather is near perfect, not too hot, not too cold, and the history of the area is fascinating. I love the sky, the stars, the mountain views and the warm people of this community.

What makes this property unique

There are few quaint and historic towns in Arizona, and Bisbee is the best. Slip back in time while enjoying modern amenities and inspiring views from this large and luxurious mountain home. It was half the size and quite a mess when I first bought it. It has been my 'art project' and a real learning experience, something like the old movie 'Money Pit'. The fantastic views and large yard were always there but I totally rebuilt the house, including pine wood ceilings and cabinets, stone walls and staircases, and the remarkable iron work all over the property.
