Relaxation meets convenience at this coastal studio, which features island vibes and typical home comforts. All of Caye Caulker is easily within walking distance, from shopping and dining to sandy beaches. Since Caye Caulker is free of cars, many people get around by bike or golf cart, which can be rented at various locations around the island. The complex has two bikes available for guest use, but they are first come, first served. But since you're staying on the most relaxed island in the country, you might prefer to take your time and stroll barefoot instead! Ready for some fun? Located on the largest living barrier reef in the western hemisphere, activities range from fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and more.

This studio has everything you will need for a great vacation away from the humdrum of life. The kitchenette includes a microwave and a refrigerator, perfect for reheating and storing delicious leftovers from area restaurants. Want to cook up some local fare yourself? There is a shared barbecue and picnic area under the shade of coconut trees. There is also plenty of space on the deck, which includes a shaded hammock, so you can relax out of the sun with a great book. Whether you spend most of your time under the sun or in the shade, your paradise vacation will surely make lasting memories.

The other half of the duplex, with a near-identical layout, is also available to rent.

Beautiful Cabana, close to everything!

We really enjoyed this one bedroom cabana during our stay in Caye Caulker! It was close to restaurants, a grocery store next door and we walked everywhere! The bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower head was lovely!

Great stay

Good quiet location with a 15 minute walk to the Split passing lots of restaurants and shops on the way. Convenience store is right across the street for beer and snacks. Comfortable bed and hammock on the porch was a delight. AC worked great.

The room and our stay was really good. The location of the property was clean and convenient. We only have two recommendations: 1) Provide the code to the double gate so you can slide it open and park the golf cart. It was kind of frustrating having to jump through hoops to get something that our payment should have given us access too. 2) Provide a TV in the room just in case it rains and you cannot go outside.

Caye Caulker trip

Overall, we were really happy with this place. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. Having the little store across the street was very convenient, and the property is just a short walk from the airport. It took us a little while to realize that the gate to the property slides open (i.e., you don’t need to open the locked door in the gate), but once we figured this out it was fine. Also, we had one of the towel bars fall out of the wall in the bathroom ( just not anchored properly), but this wasn’t that big a deal. The A/C was quiet and efficient, and the hammock was great. I’ve already recommended this property to friends.

Caye Caulker

The accommodations were very nice; clean, nice area, well-maintained. We feel it was a very good value for the 8 days we spend on the property. However, initially finding the place was more than frustrating. The pinned location that was given to us was the wrong address. In fact, the actual location was more than 200 meters away; down the street and around the corner - on a different block entirely. Communication with someone via text - and no local people on the ground - was frustrating. Ultimately it worked out, but not without these difficulties. Otherwise, we loved it!

Didn't Meet Expectations

We had high hopes for this property based on the photos and the listing. Unfortunately it was one problem after another. Here's the breakdown: *No code to open gate *Very little towels *Not enough toilet paper *The ac was off upon arrival, it was over 95 when we arrived, extremely dangerous knowing that everyone arriving has been traveling and carrying luggage prior to arrival *The door to the unit doesn't open more than 18"due to the door being warped *Very weak WiFi signal *NO TV, listing included cable, with a pending hurricane having local info would have been great *No access for ac to get into the bathroom, listing upon booking stated central air, listing currently states partial ac *A lot of creaks & cracks in the building *The bed makes horrible noises when you are on it *Broken tile in the shower *No drinking water provided *Only 6 clothing hangers provided *Only the ceiling fan was provided, no other fans to move air in unit *There were ants in the kitchen. *The smoke detector, which was unreachable, began beeping to have the battery replaced. *The management company was contacted several times. They did have towels & paper products delivered. BUT they never acknowledged any of the other issues. They were contacted several times for the beeping smoke detector & no one ever replied! Not only was it a disturbance but it is a safety concern. The smoke detector only runs on batteries. We had a great time, even with the house issues. I would not stay here again
