Property was listed as 3 bedrooms and in fact was 2 bedrooms with an office and living room double sofa. So it was misleading.

the room you call an office is a sun room with a work space and it is listed that it has a pull out sofa to sleep on. It is listed that can sleep 6 people counting 2 in the 1st and 2 in the second bedroom and 2 on the pull out sofa in the living room. The sun room comes with the pull out sofa for extra 2 kids to sleep on. Nothing is misleaded. I dont appreciate living all the lights on, house unlocked from the 2 backdoors and a dog poop on the carpet in the gym

The property was very clean and ready for our arrival. Stefi has provided everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. She has a variety of gym equipment a massage chair tanning bed and even a sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were also very clean. Stefi even stayed behind to vaccum pool after allowing us to arrive earlier than check in time. Our dogs Izzy and Stormy also enjoyed thier stay. Plenty of yard to run around in and experience new items. We also enjoyed the zipline lol I dropped into the middle of pool from it very exciting. We also spent time e just relaxing watching TV with the dogs. The town of mayberry and local restaurants ate only a quick 20 min drive. What more could you ask for. I highly reccomend Stefis vacation resort getaway. We will be returning next year.

Stefi's property overall was exactly as advertised. If you are looking for total privacy and seclusion, and don't want to rent on top of a mountain, then this property checks those boxes. The house was well maintained, clean, peaceful(little to no outside noise), and very comfortable to stay in(ranch style so no stairs to worry about inside). The landscaping, both in front of the house and back, was amazing. The private swimming pool, even though we did not use it due to the outside temperature, was also well maintained as I believe it was the cleanest pool I have ever seen in all of the homes I have ever rented. Stefi was also I believe the best host I had ever had the pleasure of renting from. Anytime I reached out to Stefi I always got a immediate response. Never had any issues but just needed to ask her a question every now and then. Stefi even reached out to me after I departed to tell me about a item I had left behind and wanted to know if I wanted the item shipped to me. Even though I explained to her that the item did not belong to my wife or I I was still amazed that she took the time to reach out to me. Never had a host that was that thoughtful. If I ever return to vacation in Mt. Airy NC again I will definetely reach out to Stefi again to see if her house is available to rent.

Stefi is amazing! This property is gorgeous and one can quickly realize how much work has been conducted to make this truly a paradise. So many peaceful settings (I call them little oasis!) Beautiful porches (several with much seating) and everyone loved the hot tub and the pool. Thank you, Stefi. We will be returning in the future! This property would be great for small church women or men's gathering and for youth groups!

Lovely place to stay. Not to far from town. Cuts out the hustle and bussel. Would definitely love to rent again in the summer time so we could use the pool. Only recommendations would be better hand rails going from office door to the hot tub.

Like a private mini hotel

Host was very helpful and answered call immediately or needed. The house has everything you can need to enjoy yourself. Only used the kingg bed and it was extremely comfortable.

Stefi's home is very beautiful. The landscape is the absolute most gorgeous. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the amenities did not match the pictures and there were many things we were not able to use. We did get to enjoy the hot tub, and the pool, and the grill as well as one covered outdoor table and seating area. However, there were some safety concerns such as the deck by the ping pong table being very weak and we had to stay off of it, as well as all of the other seating areas outside having moldy cushions, the zip line was rusted and the bar connecting it to the tree was breaking and so that was definitely not safe. Also, the bed above the hot tub was very moldy. There were also many personal items left around the house, which was fine, but just not expected. If everything listed had been a little more kept up with and clean or even if it would have been communicated that this is what we could have expected, I would have given a better review. After the initial shock of realizing the pictures were taken in the properties prime and that we wouldn't have access to everything listed, we remembered to have grace, and then we had the absolute best time. Overall, this place was great.

Hi Cheryl,thank you for the review. You mentioned some of the inconveniencies in private and I explained you that I was away for a month and my cleaners unfortunately did not bother for the upkeep of the siting areas outdoors Yes our state is very humid and mold cant be avoided on the textiles on the furniture outdoors even after washing some spots remain. The deck supposed to be fixed,but it was delayed, it was just one board uplifted which is fixed now. The zipline is safe and people use it all the time. If you loock close,it is green mold on 1 of the handles,not rust. I demonstrate every time to people how to use it,but this time I was out of the country. I dont know what you mean by not being able to use all the rooms on the photos? Everything on the photos is available to the guests. Very unproffessional of you to tell me in private about some of these inconveniensies just to make me aware,and help me, and tell me that you would not put it out there,and now you complain in public about that!!! Have a nice summer!!!

Wonderful hostess with a fun tropical oasis!

I stayed here for five days while recovering from nose surgery, and it was the perfect place to relax. The home was spotless and full of thoughtful touches — the pool, hot tub, adjustable bed, and massage chair made a big difference in my comfort. Great value, quiet, and very relaxing. Stefi is a fabulous hostess as well, she’s very attentive and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Great State Park Trip

Great place for the kids with lots of outdoor space/activities at the home and convenient to explore the local state parks and wineries. House has everything you could need and slept our crew of 6 comfortably. Stefi was there in person to check us in and was easy to contact.

Relaxing and fun

From check in to check out everything was seamless. The house and grounds were beautiful, there is even a kiwi tree! My family loved the gym (especially the exercise swing) and the kitchen had everything we needed. So much care and attention to detail by the owner. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place and owner !

This place has everything! All the amenities are wonderful ! It is a great place to relax or be active…..all without having to leave the house. For an extended stay or if you just like to cook, Stefi’s kitchen has any equipment you need to prepare anything. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and this had all the conveniences we have at home...plus ! The longer you can stay…..the better !

Private resort

This was exactly what we were looking for. Something close to home, private, with a view and some water. They yard was like a little resort, so beautiful and private. Lots of sitting areas to enjoy, while listening to the many fountains all around. My Grandson so enjoyed the pool as we all did. Stefi was very nice and supplied us with all of our needs.

Privacy paradise

My teen grandaughter and her BF were occupied with something any time we were at the house. The zipline across the the yard, over the pool was the coolest. I enjoyed the quiet backyard. We were no more than 30 min. away from anything we were looking to do.

Peaceful and Romantic

It’s like your very own secluded island in the middle of wine country. Literally no one around for at least 1-2 acres. You would have to stay in a big resort WITHOUT any privacy to get the same access to pool, hot tub, complete gym with sauna & tanning bed. I was going to sleep in the massage chair until I discovered the adjustable king bed with head & foot massage options!! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again for our getaway.
