The Home
Step inside and feel instantly at ease. The open living area is filled with natural light from expansive windows framing the lake and mountains beyond. Gather around for board games, enjoy a cozy evening by the fire, or simply soak in the peaceful views.
This home features 3 comfortable bedrooms, fresh hotel-quality linens and towels, and a fully equipped kitchen with an open dining space perfect for shared meals and laughter.

Outdoor Living
Outside, Lake Harmony's flat, gently sloping yard invites you to play, relax, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Start your mornings with coffee on the private dock, spend the day kayaking, fishing, or paddling, and unwind at sunset with a grill-out or bonfire under the stars.
A paddle boat and two kayaks are included for guest use, making it easy to explore the lake right from your doorstep.

Pet-Friendly Comfort

It was a very nice older lakefront home but well- maintained. The view was absolutely gorgeous and the area was family friendly. It was spacious enough for everyone to have their own area and had plenty of space for family time. We would definitely recommend for small families that want to escape the hustle and bustle of the party coves. They provided sun chairs, paddle boat, swim noodles, hammock, and BBQ grill for outdoor needs. Indoors they provided blender, toaster oven along with tons of dishes, pots & pans, dish soap, sponge, 2 rolls of paper towels, coffee pack, and mini shampoo/ conditioner for each bathroom. There was a main refrigerator and then a small dorm type refrigerator for drinks. There is a Dollar General Marketplace 9 min up the road, a gas station about 5 min up the road , and Alessandro’s Pizza is a few minutes up the road that served good food. If you prefer the larger chain - Kroger is about 30 minutes away. There was a spice drawer with a variety of spices and cooking oils, sprays etc available that others had left behind. I would recommend bringing extra bath towels because you were provided 1 each for the week and that wasn’t enough for a family of six showering daily. I would also recommend bringing your own trash bags, extra paper towels, aluminum foil, parchment paper , laundry soap, dryer sheets, etcI wouldn’t recommend trying to park your boat in the parking areas, but you can pay 5.00 at Mitchell’s landing to put your boat in the water.

I have stayed at quite a few VBRO properties and I will say this one has topped my favorite list. It was quiet. Beautiful. Just perfect. We love coming to Smith Mountain Lake and this will be the first place we look to stay when we book from now on. Thank you for providing such a wonderful vacation. Catherine

The property is very dated and very expensive for what we got… we had expressed interest in a place that would be accessible to an elderly person with mobility issues. While the home itself had no stairs, it was nearly impossible for someone using a walker or cane to access the narrow curved steps from the sloping lot. Mouse droppings were deposited in the kitchen trash bag… we later discovered droppings in the utensil drawer, as well as a mouse trap behind the kitchen garbage can. The outside of the home needed some significant attention to spider webs, Pinestraw in gutters, and a deck that we had to clean before using. In our opinion, there are much better options for 700/night.
