Neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything. House was immaculatly clean and stocked with everything. House stayed cool in the hot days and was very quiet at night. Host was very responsive and allowed us to check in an hour and half early. Highly recommend.
We had an excellent time. The location was excellent, the heating and air and water all worked great. Only complaint we had was my mother in law said her mattress was a little too hard.
All in all the property is cozy and charming. We felt very much at home. The neighborhood is full of nice, well kept houses; children and pets as well.
Very nice, beautiful historical home in Converse Heights. We traveled back to Spartanburg to see old friends. Very happy we found such a nice place to stay. I highly recommend.
Right down the street from Converse, this home is conveniently located close to Converse, the rail to trail path, and to down town. I was able to take a nice 3 mile walk each morning in a safe and pretty neighborhood. There were a few minor problems, but the host was quick to respond, it was nice to know he was eager to resolve little things that came up.

Rough Start
Found the place just fine. Code would not work on either door. Could not reach owner. After waiting on the front pirch for 2.5 hours and then recieving 4 different codes from the owner finally reached, was let into the house. This was a horrible start to what was supposed to be a wonderful weekend.

Yes it was a bad start. My condolences. I gave her the wrong code and she tried reaching me while I was in the air. I did reach out as soon as I landed. My profound apologies.
Host very welcoming and easy to reach. Great location. Nice, walkable neighborhood. Definitely older building, as advertised, but clean and comfortable.
I lived in Spartanburg and found it a delightful town. Alas, I had to move away and now live in Virginia. I come around a couple of times a year and work on the house.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have nay issues with the house.
Why they chose this property
Converse Heights is the best neighborhood in Spartanburg. I love how you can have a mansion next to a duplex. Its a lovely blend of fancy houses and simple, lovely houses.
The neighbors are super friendly.

Mine is looks like it belongs in New England. It is a unique look for this area. Nice yard. Less than a 20 minute walk to downtown.
