The main floor has a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, one full bathroom, and a living room with flatscreen TV and an electric fireplace. All beds are located on the second floor. The bedroom has a full size and twin bed. The open sleeping area has an additional 4 full size beds. There are two air conditioners on the second floor for the warm summer nights. On the front of the camp, we have a bonus room with a bar that boasts amazing views of Akers Pond and the surrounding mountains. On the lower lawn, there is a fire pit by the water. The house was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location for fly fishing in the area. Communication regarding check in and check out was excellent.
Such a wonderful, quintessential NH cabin! The views are gorgeous. We really appreciated the large dock and giant yard, especially the fire pit right next to the water. We brought our own kayaks and floats, and spent all of our days out on the water. Can't wait to come back.
We loved the cabin by Akers Pond. Great view of the stars and great little remote town near a wildlife refuge, which was good for a long day of canoeing to see the wildlife close up. It was also so peaceful and quiet there, especially at night. I especially liked getting up before dawn and edperiencing the sunrise over the pond. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Small house and all beds are in the loft, it was a great location on the pond. Our family of five stayed two nights and had a fun time on the pond with our paddle boards. It is very shallow water around the dock which is nice for little kids.
Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. Owners were very attentive to detail and the camp was clean. The kids loved playing and fishing off the dock. They even kayaked even though it rained a bit during our stay.
It was a nice quick get away for some peace and quiet. It had everything you needed and more. Very clean and comfortable. Campfire near water. Very peaceful. Will definitely stay again.
Went up for the weekend to do some fishing and off roading with my son . Camp was spacious and clean . Could accommodate much bigger family. Great area and great pond. Wish we had more time to spend there very relaxing. Thanks for a great weekend Steve B
The home was clean comfortable and exactly as described . We played cornhole by the waterfront. We had forgotten our cribbage board but one was thoughtfully provided. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Right down the street from the trail head this was the perfect spot to be for a good sleep and meals between trail rides. Furniture is very comfortable. Appliances are modern and clean, and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to cook and Curran
Nice tidy camp on the water, awesome views of the Akers Pond. We were a little confused about parking, but it worked. Awesome wifi and entertainment. My wife and I stayed a couple days after the moose left on Wednesday,
Did a couple of fires in the fire pit and listened to the stars.
Great Place, definitely would go again.
