The stay was amazing with the Mountain View and large rooms! We also had snow flurries while there which made it even better for the two kids that have not seen snow! This stay is a must do again!

The location was close to Helen but out in the woods for a very quiet stay. We were able to enjoy the local sites, shops, restaurants, and hikes and then rest in a relaxing environment. The house was clean and well maintained.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The home was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed. Having three bedrooms with three king-size beds was such a luxury and made the stay especially comfortable for our family.Our host, Jessica, was fantastic—always quick to respond and very accommodating. She even graciously allowed us an extra hour for checkout, which we really appreciated.We loved all the thoughtful extra touches, including the bottle of wine, coffee, and plenty of fresh linens. The Pac-Man game was a huge hit with the family! And one of my personal favorites was enjoying my morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the covered front porch—such a peaceful way to start the day.We truly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this home to others, and would absolutely stay here again!

This is our second time staying here. Cabin is incredibly clean and well furnished. Location is excellent and we love the covered front porch. Very convenient to a marvelous Ingles grocery store…10 minutes away. Host is excellent to work with. Master bedroom mattress is extremely comfortable. It was nice to arrive after a long drive to a freezer that already had ice available. Our pups enjoyed their stay as well.

Very nice cabin, everything we needed. Towels, all the kitchen items, very nice coffee pot. The porch was very nice with rocking chairs. We loved the games, Pac-Man and foos ball table. Convenient to everything. The owner contacted me to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our 3 nights at the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was peaceful on the porch in the rocking chairs. The bed was very comfortable. We had fun playing Pac-Man. We went to Helen to eat and walk around. Bill was quick to respond to any questions.

Wonderful getaway

We loved this property. It was super clean and the master bedroom bed was the most comfortable bed ever. Grounds are beautiful and location cannot be beat. It was peaceful and heavenly.

Roomy escape & lovely views

Our family of 5 and small dog had lots of room and comforts at Take A Hike. It was conveniently located near all the spots we wanted to visit and we enjoyed the peaceful porches and outdoor spaces.

Clean & Cozy Home

The house was very clean. I loved the cozy living room and front porch. It was just 2 of us, but this home would be great for families with children. Having king size beds in every room is really nice too.

Amazing!!

Our stay was amazing! Jessie was fantastic and the property was gorgeous! The location is perfect. It is very close to towns but you feel like you are tucked away in the mountains. It’s the best of both worlds. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to the Helen area!! Thank you!!
