This charming, newly built cottage is nestled among trees, offering beautiful seasonal views of Crystal Lake and a peaceful, relaxing setting.
Guests enjoy shared lakefront access just one minute walk from the home, located directly across the street. The property is ideally situated with the Betsy Trails right outside your door--perfect for biking, walking, or exploring the scenic 22-mile trail around the lake. The location is hard to beat-- short drive to Crystal Mountain for skiing and golfing, a short walk to Beulah Public beach, pickle ball courts, and restaurants (.7 mi away), Close to Frankfort, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, and many wineries and breweries the area has to offer. Downtown Beulah and pickle ball courts are also within walking distance.
The home is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including linens, kitchen essentials, and more.

This place is even better than the photos! Absolutely everything looked brand new. Nothing was worn out or dingy. Everything extremely clean. The host was so sweet and, due to bad weather, proactively offered to extend our checkout. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Well appointed, thoughtful layout, tucked in a woods, with a peek of the lake, and only a short walk to town and five min. to golf. Just what we were looking for.

Nice stay, beautifully decorated, great place to stay overnight. Would be perfect for a couple going to Crystal to ski or on their way to Traverse area, etc. Please note it is above the owner's garage, we missed that part, so it was a little awkward when we arrived, as we didn't know where to park and we didn't know we needed to walk in and go above the garage. We accidently walked up to the owner's house but got it all figured out. Was a nice little studio for 2 people to stay in, had a nice view of the forest and the sun coming up in the morning. Lake down the road was beautiful in the morning with the sun shining on the snow. A couple of great restaurants in town, just down the road. Would be good for a couple traveling in the winter or if you wanted a short stay in the summer.

I am happy to hear guests felt it was a great place to stay but I just want to clarify on the confusion the guests may have had. If you view my listing you will see written details along with pictures on where to park, where the entrance door is and what it looks like so all guests are aware where to go. I do not have any pictures of my house on the other lot in this listing, only the carriage house. The pictures along with detailed instructions, where to park, entrance with a picture of the door and what my rental looks like on the outside, and access to the amenities in the garage are all listed. I was happy to let guests know where to go when they arrived.

Nice respite in quiet area of Crystal Lake

Very nice to be so close to the Betsy bike trail and ride all the way to the pier in Frankfort ( just < 20 mile round trip). Also nice to be close to Beulah restaurants. We also enjoyed picking peaches and plums in PierPort. The accommodations were perfect.

Beautiful Place with Great Amenities

Space was clean and well decorated, had lots of dishes, cooking utensils, etc., which was great because we love to cook. Would love to go back during the summer to spend more time around the lake.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this listing! The location was perfect -- so close to the water! Everything was clean, tidy, and visually and aesthetically pleasing. The deck was so perfect and special in the morning. The perfect getaway. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Maple Nest Cottage

The setting of the cottage in the woods near the lake as well as the interior of the cottage was beautiful. The cottage was very clean, well-stocked and quiet. We spent time relaxing in all the inside coziness as well as exploring the nearby area and finding some cute shops and delicious food. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again sometime!

Quiet, tranquil spot

Comfy, well-equipped and nicely decorated one bedroom. This is a beautifully- designed apartment above a garage. Spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable! We were there in hot weather and the AC worked perfectly. We used the kayaks on the lake which was super fun. Great location close to the Beulah downtown. If we had stayed for more days, we would definitely have used the bikes to roll around town.

Great spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was close to the attraction that brought us to the area, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Never having hiked the trails in the winter, it did not disappoint. The VRBO was in a great location and just so happened to be having their Winterfest that weekend. Our first time watching fireworks in the winter, such a cool experience! Just a short walk made for a fun adventure! Maple Nest Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Adorable guest home

We only stayed one night so don’t have any complaints other than we wish we stayed longer to enjoy the amenities. There is a basket in the kitchen with useful information (maps, restaurant menus, guides, guest rules/instructions) that I thought was super thoughtful of the owner! Owner was also very responsive.
