A great 2 bedroom rental. It was right downtown but with a beautiful park leading to the canal a couple of blocks away. Lots of dining and local shopping options. Condo was large and comfortable.

It list your stay as La Cresta but you actually stay in a hotel across the street. The Receptionist at La Cresta didn’t tell me it was across the street so I was walking around looking for the building. The hotel across the street was nice.

Noisy, problematic but well located

My mother and aunt stayed 2 weeks in this units for vacation. We’ve visited Panama city over 10 times in the past 12 years. First impression upon checking in was… it’s not very clean, nor does it feel very luxurious. The apartment looks much nicer in pictures.Instead of chocolates bedside we found earplugs! And after the first night we quickly understood why: from 3am onwards, the traffic noises and motorcycle honks were unbearable! We had issues with plumbing and electricity. Maintenance ppl in the building were very helpful and kind enough to help us out every time we needed help. Great communication with the host just not very helpful in terms of solutions. When we mentioned the noise issue his only solution was to relocate us on a higher floor and when we demanded a refund he said it was too late and it was up to VRBO policies. But VRBO policies mentioned if issues after checkin date then we’d have to discuss with the host. A real catch 22. Nevertheless, great location, just way too noisy, felt unclean, the type of place you wouldn’t want to walk bear foot. Would not recommend unless you’re in a coma and can sleep through heavy heavy noises.
