Not Suitable for Rental

Kitchen stove did not work, microwave did not work, no hot water. Owner forgot to fill propane tank, pilots went out. To their credit, they were responsive, had someone come to make jury rigged repairs. No heater in house, just wood stove, not mentioned in listing. Painted plywood floors with paint mostly worn off. Kitchen has hardwood floor which is nice. Sliding door jams at 6" open, needs real hard push to open fully. WiFi access a nightmare, no guidance sign, 1 hour struggle to sign in. BBQ Grille they listed was rusted through, could not get it to start. Front stairs rotten, railing so rotten and loose it came off in my hand. Deck Rail wobbly, prob not handle weight of an adult leaning on it. An accident waiting to happen. Beds comfy, rooms spacious, living room couches good. Front deck has great filtered view of airport and water. With rebuilt front stairs, decent flooring and attention to maintenance, this could be a great rental.
Rotten railing that came off in my hand ( I pushed it back). Newel post also rotten and loose.
Empty propane tank with jury rigged BBQ tank to serve house. Fix done on second day of rental.
Top stair tread rotted out, safety hazard especially with rotted and loose railing.
Ice maker in freezer. Does not operate, covered in mold so probably a good thing it is broken..
