Peaceful place up in the mountains

The cabin is up on a mountain(driving on this road during icy conditions would be impossible) in a gated community, but the instructions to get in after hours is clear. There are ramps leading in to the main floor of the cabin, and a step in shower in the main bathroom, which was a boon for my elderly parents(which is why we picked the cabin in the first place). Cabin was clean, and well appointed; all the TVs are the "smart" variety, so even though there's no cable or satellite, if you have apps on your phone or tablet(like Disney or Discovery), you can "cast" them on to the TV, which is what we did. My parents really liked the back porch; although the leaves have blocked most of the mountain view, it was very peaceful and quiet. Nice place! Highly recommend!

Smokey Mountain Sweetness

The home is located in a gated community. It was private. The house was clean. Check in was easy. Starter essentials were perfect. It is nicely decorated. Great porches to relax on. Beautiful setting in the Smokey’s. Close to Townsend. We would rent again. Bonus…whipperwill serenades!

Great place to stay.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Neighborhood is gated, quiet, not much traffic. Roads are steep in places and there is not much room for parking if you have larger vehicles(really only room for two vehicles in the drive, but there is room on the side of the road if you need it). There isnt much of a view due to the trees, but still very peaceful sitting out on the deck. Overall, we enjoyed it, and would stay here again.

Safe Neighborhood

Close in location to Townsend and golf course. Cabin situation on mountainside was private and serene. Mostly wooded view from porches. Gas Fireplace was easy to operate and added to the warmth/feel of the cabin. For those traveling with family it is worth noting the interior walls are not insulated so room to room privacy is limited. No yard to speak of so kids are limited to interior play as well. Great home and location Comfortable beds The listing information is accurate Home is well maintained Family enjoyed our week here
