It was a great week at this property. Very cute cottage perfect for the three of us. Lake was crystal clear ,very quiet. Would recommend this location for a small group.
The cabin was well kept up. The beds were comfortable. The grill was in good shape. The lake, loons, eagles and wild life were wonderful to see. The added kayaks, padfle boat and row boat make this stay even better as it allows you to explore the lake without having to go find and get a rental. Only anout 12 minutes from St Germain and 30 from Eagle River. Also a nice drive over to Minoqua!

Accuracy
There was false advertisement for the air conditioning. Disappointment on supplies. Only one trash bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper for a week long stay with 4 adults. Great screened in porch, great lake. Overall it was good other than what was mentioned above.
The cottage is exactly as represented in the posting. The screened in porch overlooks the lake and is great for early morning coffee or late evening viewing.
The only criticism is how off the grid it actually is....we had very limited and intermittent cell phone access (Verizon) and there is no wifi. As I had to work during our stay that presented issues for me...driving the 15 miles to town was not feasible on a regular basis.
For those looking to be off-the-grid, this cottage is your answer! If you need access, look elsewhere.
We spent the week of the fourth at the cabin. Communication with Sean and Jason were great. Jason stopped in when we got there and introduced himself. That was the only time we saw him which was fine because we had no issues!! The cabin was perfect for our family of three. Swimming by the dock was great. Nice and shallow all the way out for our daughter to swim. We caught plenty of fish off the dock too. Location was ideal. Just a short drive to St. Germain, Eagle River and Minocqua. The only cons of the cabin and the reason for four stars instead of five was due to the cabin lacking a few items and the overall cleanliness. A few more cooking items would have been nice. The cabin was clean, but we could tell items on the wall and a few other things hadn't been cleaned in a while.
Overall this is an excellent cabin for a small family or couple. We would definitely stay there again!!
We loved this cozy cabin for our week long stay! It has everything one needs for a great week. Our only problem was that Mother Nature did not cooperate! Thank goodness for the screen porch. It made it all so much better than it could have been!
my family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay, the cabin was very clean and the breeze from the lake was amazing. Very beautiful sunsets that we enjoyed from the back porch. we will definitely visit again!!!
Nice clean cabin with nice owners Jana and Sean next door. Older cabin with nice improvements. Liked storage closet for water heater. Could store things out of the way there. Fishing okay, loved swimming to cool off during hot August weather.🌞

Great again!
We stayed at the cottage again this summer and it was just a great experience again! Sean has made a lot of improvements to the property, new paint, roof, upgraded bathroom, etc. It was every-bit as pleasurable as the last time. North Nokomis is a great lake for fishing and fun! Bring your boat or rent a motor...either way the lake just is fantastic. Best part though is just sitting down at the dock at night in your chair and watching the sun set. What a great location!

Made us want to stay longer!!!
We were there the week of August 2nd, 1014. What a great location! Just a couple steps off the water with our own private Dock. We rented a 8 HP motor from a Place in St Germain for the boat and were able to go all over the lake to fish and have fun! I caught Northern, Bass, Trout and Panfish right off the dock. Bring your fish cleaning tools! All the neighbors around the cabin were gone during the week, so we had a whole section to ourselves essentially. We brought our Kayaks and hit some of the Flowages around the area. Overall, I REALLY did not want to go home :-( It was that good!
The property was clean and well-maintained. The inside of the home look just like pictures. The water is clear and there are no weeds in the swimming area. We enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks and my husband enjoyed all the fish he caught in the lake. There is a small sand beach that walks right out to the water. The home is up a small hill with about 10 steps but you can see the lake from the screened in porch of the cabin. We saw a few deer from the back deck. It is in a quiet location but close to town and other fun places for a family to go.
What a great place to relax! My husband & I own a bar & wanted to get away from people for awhile! What a great way to do it! It was nice to have a boat, try kayaking, lawn games & being able to sit in the most comfortable lawn chairs ever by the campfire! Geralyn was a great hostess! Visited with her for awhile & even met a neighbor who has family ties to our area! What a great vacation!!! Thanks again for the great time! Comes with my highest recommendations for anyone to stay! There are beautiful roads to walk or ride a bike also (which we did)! The central location to all the towns within a 30 mile radius was great for shopping too!!! Thanks again Geralyn!

Wonderful week on Nokomis Lake
Our family had a wonderful week in this cabin on Nokomis Lake. The house is cozy, clean and comfortable. Our favorite part of the cabin was definitely the screened in porch. We read books, did puzzles, played games, and ate meals out on this wonderful spacious porch. The breezes off the lake were priceless. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. The kids loved all the space outside to kick a ball around and play games. Many hours were also spent swimming off the dock and exploring the kayaks and row boat. We highly recommend this cabin. We are excited to return next summer.

A True Blue Lake Cabin
Wow!! What an amazing 3 days. My husband and I were lucking enough to stumble on this gem on North Nokomis Lake. The cabin was perfect for a romantic retreat. We also discussed how fitting it would be to include others. There was easily more then enough room and places to relax for six people. The cabin was spotless, had all the supplies we needed and the screened in porch looking out on the lake, to die for. The lake itself was gorgeous! Very unpopulated and quiet with a secret bays to fish. We watched the sunset as we swam. It was magic and is without a doubt "Gods Country". We are absolutely going back for more, and soon.

very nice place!
My girlfriend and I stayed for a week along with four children, and had a great time. The cabin was very clean, and very comfortable. The screened porch was one of the nicest features. The property is very well maintained and the lake setting is beautiful with the sunset as the backdrop every evening. There is a nice dock, a small sandy beach area and the owners are nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend this cabin as a comfortable vacation spot for a family or group of friends.
