We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed there for just a few days but the house was very spacious and clean. Everything was beautiful and the host was very responsive to any questions.
My large family had plenty of space to hang. The pool was great, and the proximity to the trolly line made it really easy to get around town. Would recommend and stay again!
We absolutely loved this property. It's beautiful, well maintained and everything was thought of. It truly felt like a home away from home and we wished we had booked a few extra days in New Orleans purely so we could have a couple days to do nothing but hang out at the house and relax in the backyard. Literally not a single thing I would change. If we ever go back to New Orleans, we'd absolutely stay here again.
This is an amazing place and really is exceptional!
We were in New Orleans for my son's wedding and we wanted a place that was large enough to share with our family and a few friends. We couldn't have found a nicer place! it has five bedrooms, a large kitchen with a large dining area, and an amazing pool. (The kids absolutely loved the pool) There was only one review when we booked the home, but we were all very pleased with our selection. It is fantastic. It is only a block away from the St. Charles street car, and it is less than a block away from a Mr. Ed's Seafood and Oyster House. I would also note that Stay Heirloom was great in its communication with us and the house was very well provisioned. Checkout also couldn't have been easier. We would highly recommend this home if you are looking for looking for a wonderful place in New Orleans that can accomodate a very large family group.
We were a group of 8 women and there were more than enough bed and bathrooms to go around for “dressing”. Beds were comfortable, linens were good quality. All pictures are exactly as what you will find. The kitchen is a dream! The house is amazing, spacious and comfortable. It’s pretty new so that’s an added bonus! Very easy access to the trolley which was convenient. Also close to the WWII museum and restaurants around there. Frankly, we’ll situated without being in the middle of it. We also had some late deliveries arrive after we had left and the managers were helpful in recovering them. We appreciated the support. Thank you! We’re looking forward to returning and will definitely stay here!!!
We rented the "New Opulent Home | Heated Pool & Hot Tub" several months before our visit November 14-18 only to be told the day before our arrival that we could not be in this house because of HVAC issues. We chose the house because of the convenience to several activities we had planned. They moved us to "Historic NOLA Estate | Private Heated Pool" which was in the Bywater area. This meant we had to spend extra $$ on Uber, etc. This was a downgrade from our original house as the layout was extremely weird (two bedrooms connected, no privacy), lots of stairs. The pool was filthy, the cleaner not working, the cushions, etc. were wet. The hallway shower head came off, the kitchen sink made a very loud vibrating sound, we smelled gas both inside and outside. We called and the only thing they came to check was the gas smell. They refunded us $350.00 but it should have been much higher. The Bywater neighborhood is very cool, but the last minute change and property they put us in were a huge disappointment.
