Hope you love fishing, Whetstone Bay has some fine fishing, and do take that old gold fish since pets are allowed. It's not possible to run out of exciting things to do near Whetstone Bay; what a wonderful place for camping it is. The helpful operators of the campground and loads of exciting things to do have many folks coming here. Needless to say there are restrooms here. Whetstone Bay is a magnificent site for boating, and a good bicycle ride here is always enjoyable. You may get bait and tackle here, and the best way to enjoy the wilderness here is in a canoe. Some activities here at Whetstone Bay are relaxing, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. Enjoy golfing here; going for a good hike is always exciting here. Whetstone Bay has some delightful cabins, and when the sun is out at Whetstone Bay you may always take pleasure in the weather at the picnic area. Everybody ought to go camping for a couple of days from time to time, and Whetstone Bay in South Dakota is precisely what you need. Camping in South Dakota is such a fun thing to do. Burke Lake Recreation Area is worth stopping at if you're at Whetstone Bay, and Truesdell Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed!
