We very much enjoyed our stay! It was a quiet respite from the city. We definitely took advantage of the hot tub and the wrap around porch. Daniel was responsive and communicated clearly and efficiently.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful!! It was very clean and just as described on line !! The hot tub was amazing and anything we needed was addressed very quickly by the owner !! We will definitely be staying at this one Again!!
Cabin vibes with full amenities and nestled in a quiet woodland community in the Shenandoah mountains.
Nice little view from deck and hot tub too!
It was the perfect spot for our family vacation, would book again 100%
Enjoyed our stay at this hidden cabin in the woods! Very private and super quiet location. The hot tub was easily accessed and was clean and easy to use. David was very responsive to our inquiries and helpful when needed.
A few friends and I stayed for the days leading up to new years. We had a blast at the cabin, using the fireplace, playing games, and cooking up a storm! It was also such a luxury to be so close to Bryce mountain resort and spend a day exploring the slopes! Would recommend.
Amazing place!!!
If you need a place to relax and recharge, look no further. The view is just exceptional and makes you find your center again.
House is cozy and confortable with all you need.
The owner is friendly and responded my txts with in minutes. We had no problems during our stay.
Coming back for sure !!!!!!!
I stayed here with my sisters and a friend for a ladies weekend. We all slept very comfortably, cooked some great meals, and enjoyed the screened porch and hot tub! We visited Showalter’s orchard for apple picking and hard cider and explored several antique stores in the area. Communication with David, the property manager, was very good. He checked in to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and answered any questions I had promptly. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fun getaway in the mountains!
Booked a cabin for my dogs 15th birthday, always wanted to stay in a cabin and figured this special occasion was a good reason to. I had 10 Virginia properties bookmarked and narrowed it down to this one. I am so happy with my choice. The host was nice enough to put up a banner for her birthday, beds comfy, everything easy to use and navigate. This place is on a pretty steep hill though fr those considering this place
We desperately needed a break. We hiked North Mountain at George Washington National Forest or the Va/WVa border about a 15 min drive from the cabin. We also visited the local orchard. That really was a treat. We cooked a lot. Used the hot tub. Played games and watched movies. We came back different. Its just what we needed.

So glad you enjoyed yourself and got the R&R you needed Julie! Happy to welcome you back anytime!
We had a wonderful trip to this cabin in Basye. It will likely lead us to break our family rule of staying in a new place each cabin trip. We would definitely stay here again. There's great hiking nearby, beautiful views, and it's so quiet! Overall we liked the house, best hot tub we've had, but we would have liked to know how steep the driveway is. We're glad our senior citizen parents didn't come, because its not accessible for them. The kitchen is well appointed, but we also wish we had known there isn't a restaurant nearby. We would have brought more food to cook. The local grocery store is great, but we wanted pizza one night and the only option was at the gas station. We wish we had a wifi password, but the owner was easily reached when needed so we could have just asked him.
What a beautiful place! The house was clean, spacious, and had literally EVERYTHING we needed! There was extra charcoal and citronella candles from previous guests to enjoy the peace and quiet on the wrap-around deck, a beautiful hot tub with views of the starry skies, and the whole house had Alexa speakers so we could have music throughout. Central AC and ceiling fans throughout, and smart TVs in each bedroom and the living room.
Kitchen had everything we needed and more, we brought espresso coffee and used the espresso machine (they had a bean grinder, pour over, French press, regular coffee maker, and teapot). Bedroom had a cute tea set laid out for us on our arrival. Plenty of condiments, cooking oil and spray, cookware, and plates and utensils. House was stocked with detergent pods and dishwasher pods for dishes and laundry. Bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner, tons of towels and tons of robes.
If you don’t plan on heading back to town after you arrive just make sure to bring some charcoal and firewood before you get there so you can enjoy the outdoor grill and fire pit. Whole house has GOOD wifi which we attached multiple devices to with no issues at all, indoor and outdoor on the deck.
David was incredibly kind, responsive and helpful. We will be making this n a regular vacation spot!
I’m originally from Cuba, raised in Miami. I’m not a commercial manager, so I use these platforms to help me cover some of the costs of owning the home. I personally spend time in this cabin so I try to put a lot of attention into creating for guests the same experience I want when I visit.
Why they chose this property
Honestly, I just wanted a beautiful getaway of my own I could escape to from time to time. I work a lot in the city and it helps to relax in the mountains,
What makes this property unique
It’s a safe, quiet neighborhood with all the amenities one would want(internet, heating, kitchen, etc) , but with the beauty of feeling incredibly remote due to all the tree coverage. It really is a chance to walk into a different world and disconnect from daily stresses.
