I’m a contract worker who regularly uses sites this this. I’ve stayed in basic rentals and rated them 9–10/10 because they were clean, maintained and *accurately represented*. I chose Vrbo for this 3-week contract expecting a step up from basic sites. Instead, this was roughly the standard at 4x extra the cost. The listing is misleading. The advertised wine was not provided, and the “gas stove” has an induction cooktop. The main photo is the Dover Library—not the property—with its signage cropped out; it is also the host’s profile photo. There are no exterior photos. This matters because the unit is on the third floor, requiring two flights of exterior stairs—something I would not have chosen while traveling with dogs. You should not have to read reviews to understand the true property.“High quality linens and towels” is overstated. Both faucets were coated with grime/mineral buildup; I cleaned them before use. The bathroom has a persistent urine smell. The walls are extremely thin—I could hear the neighboring dog scratching itself through a sound machine. The bed was wedged under the sloped roof, making part of it unusable; rotating it fixed the problem. Parking is uneven and the backyard is badly overgrown, neglected, and unusable. The neighborhood is covered in litter.Check-in instructions were outdated after a keypad replaced the lockbox. Later, the keypad/deadbolt jammed; Travis was very responsive, which is why this is a 3 rather than lower.

Perfect location

We were looking for a last minute property in Dover and was very pleased to find this place. Clean and updated. Walking distance to food and entertainment. Would definitely book this apartment again.

Great Stay, Cute Apartment with everything!

What an awesome mini apartment with everything you could possibly need. Walking distance to park, pubs, shops and places to eat. Street parking for extra cars was a plus (free after 9m) That said I wish listing stated it was on the top floor or that it was 27 steps upstairs. Honestly it was the only thing that could have been an issue because on person walks with a cane but we managed. I would definitely stay here again.

Parents weekend UNH

Easy check-in. Extremely clean. The kitchen had everything you needed with a nice little coffee/tea nook. However, I would recommend a bit of a bigger bed for two people to actually fit and get a good night sleep and possibly a small sleep pull out sofa. Glad we had a blowup mattress for our daughter to sleep on, the futon was not long enough and very hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Checking out was easy as well. Parking was tight but managed. Thank you I would love to stay again with some changes. It was a quick ride to visiting our daughter at UNH. And close to everything .

Well stocked Kitchen

Although the pictures were a bit misleading (some shown on the site say "property grounds" and "exterior of the property", I was familiar with the area and knew that the train station was not the exterior of any apartment nor was the "Cocheco River Walk" part of the property grounds. Henry Law Park is very close, but it's not the "property grounds". I arrived on an extremely hot afternoon and figured looking at the pictures that the unit was most likely on 2nd floor. However, it turned out to be on the 3rd floor, up 28 steps, and it was pretty hot. That might be something that the host may want to mention in the description (or maybe I missed it) in the event that older people or people with a disability or even on crutches might not be able to manage. Also, if people are traveling with pets, that could be an issue for some older animals. However, the unit itself is adorable. Loved the offering of teas and coffees, and if you want to cook there was a great selection of dishes, utensils and pans. I found the bed extremely comfortable. The place was immaculate. I accidently locked myself out early one AM and the property manager arrived with a key within 40 minutes. I was very grateful. The location was quiet and in great walking distance to everything in downtown Dover. Would recommend.
