Nice rambler (a few steps to get in) with a fully fenced yard! We had 3 adults and dogs for our stay and it was the perfect house for us! We personally loved being so close to NAS Whidbey & the sound of the Growlers out practicing, the wrap around porch was perfect for watching them! Comfortable beds, nice bath towels, nicely stocked kitchen & washer and dryer
This place is a dream! We had 6 adults with one dog & one cat staying here. The layout of the house was perfect! Beautiful flowers all over the property, the owner and neighbor provided us with eggs. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach where you can watch the amazing sunset! We saw a seal, otters, blue herons and eagles. Its a a great location to get away from the hub bub and enjoy the beauty of the island. Would definitely stay here again!
Everything was as advertised. We arrived a tiny bit early and the host was very accommodating. There was enough room for everyone in the rooms. 6 minute walk to the beautiful Sandy private beach was gorgeous. The naval airplanes were quite loud for a brief part of the afternoon. But, everything was peaceful and quiet in the evening and in the morning. Loved the fire pit. Two nights of family conversation around the fire with s'mores were memorable.
We stayed here with our with son’s family which included a 3 year old. The house was nice and the fenced front yard was fantastic for our dogs and grandson! The communication from the owner was the best I have experienced !! I recommend this property.
This VRBO was greatly appreciated by the adults, kids, and dogs. We hit the mark with all the beautiful flowers being in bloom. The sweet smell of flowers permeated the yard and home! We all loved grilling/playing in the fenced in yard and walking to/playing at the beach. (Loved the warm outdoor shower.) The sunsets were gorgeous!!! This home had everything we needed for cooking, lounging and playing games. We loved the decor/personality of the home. We wanted to be near Deception Pass Park and Bridge (beautiful places to visit) and the San Juan Islands. We loved taking the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor and whale watching! It was hard to say goodbye. We would stay here again and again. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your marvelous home.
We stayed here for a long vacation with the family (Grandma, three adult siblings, and two kids) and even got to bring the dogs! The house was perfectly cozy, was decorated beautifully, and provided access to all the great things that Whidbey Island has to offer! The yard is fully fenced, so it's great for dogs, and the beach is a quick (and beautiful) walk away. Terrill was considerate and straightforward and made everything we needed easily available. Definitely would recommend!
Nice quiet home base for family to explore Whidbey
Our family rented this house for a trip to whidbey to explore Deception Pass, Coupeville and Langley. This house was super for our family. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, area was quiet, kitchen was well stocked, towels and linens were good. This house is awesome for dogs too as it has a fenced yard. House had games for kids and worked really well for our family. We only wished we had more time there to use the fire pit, grill and play billiards. Walk to the beach was quick and easy, and we saw some incredible sunsets.
My wife and son (teen) joined me for a long weekend on Whidbey Island. We explored Deception Pass State Park, and we visited Anacortes and Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands. The kitchen was great for making breakfast - thanks for the farm-fresh eggs in the fridge. With Anacortes and Oak Harbor short drives away, we dined out otherwise. The beds were comfortable, the one bathroom was perfect for the three of us, and the streaming options on the TV were great. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The jets from NAS Whidbey Island were quiet over the weekend, and didn't fly until Monday morning.

Nice place and liked the house but we had jets taking off from 7AM until after midnight 2 nights and 1AM the third. Not at all relaxing nor what we thought we’d paid for. Disappointed.
My group (two couples) was looking for a getaway that was versatile. We wanted ro relax but wanted to be able to do a day trip or two if the mood struck. This place was perfect. The front porch was just the place for breakfast and morning reading. We made the short trip to the beach each night to take in the amazing sunsets.
Some of us golfed, some of us kayaked at Cranberry Lake. It was a vacation I'll never forget.
Terrill was very responsive to answer questions and checked in by text to make sure we had no questions or problems.
Comfortable beds, good floor plan, and nice streaming setup if the weather doesnt cooperate.
I highly recommend this property. Bring beach chairs and/or beach blankets because missing the sunsets would be missing a lot.
