Owner canceled reservation morning of check in

We were confirmed to stay friday-sunday. Monday host asked "you have dogs?" I responded yes 2 medium sized well behaved. Heard nothing back paid the pet fee. The morning of checkin i received an email our reservation was canceled breaking house rules which the listing said pets allowed pet friendly and details shows pet fee required. Host claims to have called with vrbo on the line multiple times which isnt true i checked missed and spam calls also have communicated through email successfully so if she were trying to reach me she should have emailed communicating that. She then sends info into vrbo stating broke house rules that the rule is 1 dog under 25 lbs (she changed the listing morning of and vrbo confirmed that). Host stalked my Facebook profile and submitted pictures of my dogs which i would have happily sent IF she asked. She then blames it all on vrbo claiming she had nothing to do with it. Terrible experience, terrible communication and even worse customer service. Save your time and frustration book elsewhere

Sorry for the inconvenience it was my first rental . The listing was really listed before totally ready . Also I take blame simply because this is a luxury home not a place for dogs or pets . I honestly didn’t realize until I got no response back . So yes Facebook is worldwide so after no response back I looked up who would be staying in the home far from stalking . I ensure a peaceful comfortable stay . Rather the fee was paid or I didn’t realize this home is not equipped for large dogs , this client was rude after I contacted thru rep Vrbo several times no response until day before stay . Things have been totally modified yes because clearly there was misunderstanding not anything to do with the home . One bad apple surely can’t spoil this bunch . I show and tell on my vacation home . I also guarantee this could be one of the best stay EVER . I am a great super host and my home is beautiful and CLEAN . Blessing be with you sorry for the misunderstanding . The response surely is not nearly what’s here to enjoy at this luxury stay . Maybe one of my other PROPERTIES WILL BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU AND YOUR TWO UNSTATED OVERSIZED DOGS . I truly apologize and if your ever traveling without pets I’ll offer you a free night STAY AT THIS CLEAN LUXURY HOME ..
